virgin grow, help me grow some crip herb

So this is my first time growing ever and I want to do this right. I am tired of smoking junk, it is very hard to find good strains and good growers where I am living currently in Colorado, I'm from Orange County CAL where i got spoiled on herb and this stuff isnt right here.

it's time for me to make the jump into growing myself, i have a marijuana license and I have spent a lot of money on equipment let me list what I have and maybe somebody could tell me if I need anything else, also if anyone has any experience growing barneys farm Liberty Haze and purple wreck from reserva privada as these will be the first strains that I will because i have bought femenized seeds from attitude if you have grown these strains maybe you could give me STRAIN specific pointers.

I'm planning on doing 6 plants in my tent i have a


5x5 gorilla grow tent, hydro f arm air cool reflector 8 inch, max fan 8 inch 646 cfm, temp dne, 1000 watt phantom digital ballast, 1000 watt metal halide bulb, t5 flourescents, co2e controller and regulater and tank, trying to figure out my fan situaltion, digital temp humidity with high low current, also i will get a hortilux 1000 hps bulb, what else to make this run smoothly?

some good soil some good nutes and you might need a fan to circulate air if you dont already have one but other than that study up on techniques and methods till you find the one you like

The two things I would want to add are
1) a carbon filter to contain the odor, and
2) a speed controller for the fan. The good, transformer-based ones are expensive, but they'll save you enough power to pay for themselves in a few years, and they're a joy to operate. that's a LOT of fan. cn

he is legal so the odor isnt a big deal i dont think sounds like you got all ur gonna need :) verry nice set up btw i cant wait to see how your ladys turn out :)

Odor control is a just plain good idea even if state-legal. Nosy neighbors, rippers and others just do not need to know. cn

I have decided to go with soil for my grow medium, I think I'm going to use Fox Farm Ocean Forest and roots organic mixed because I heard fox farm is hot so maybe I could cut the soil with roots organic soil a little bit. Any ideas on that? Also I will be getting some fans for circulation I just don't know what to use in the guerilla grow tent yet The technique I'm not sure of yet. I'm going to be exhausting out an open window that I'm going to board up with 8in flange, one that takes in fresh air through the bottom wth mushroom filter and one exhaust through the top.

Soilwise, I think Happy Frog is a better place to start. I had success in that ... plants didn't need supplemental food for a coupla months. cn

Okay I've heard of happy frog, I've got some rapid Rooter trace to start my seeds and what should I be feeding them at the beginning stages after I've soaked the seeds overnight, I also have pot to pot to transport the plugs into before I put them into 7 gallon pots? Should I be using a different type of soil at the beginning stages until I put them into the 7 gallons?

Once you start a thread, you cannot delete it yourself. You need to ask the mod for that section. Links to the section mods are found at the bottom of the threads page.

As to your other question, do not feed seedlings. Once they're planted into soil, they'll get what they need there for a few weeks. Don't feed until you see signs of appetite ... is my advice. cn
