Plant problem progressing rapidly

Hey guys i was just wondering if any one might be able to help diagnose the symptoms my plant is going threw right now, some one suggested nitrogen deficiency but i dont think it could be that unless its locked out because i have a lot of nitrogen in my soil, i was thinking maybe cal mag def because i am not entirely sure i added Epson salts to my soil mix.

symptoms
leaves canoeing
leaf tips burnt and curving up
1 leaf twisting
leafs yellowing from tips to stems then brown spots
purple stems on both plants


here is a list of whats in my soil

2.8 cu ft promix
1.0 cu ft ffof
8 cups Bone Meal 0 10 0
4 cups Blood Meal 12 0 0
25 lb pure worm castings 1 0 0
7.3 cups green sand 2 tbsp per gal
4 cups powdered dolomite lime
4 cups kelp meal 0.6 0 1.5
Epsom salts
25% perlite
8 cu feet total

I am going to post some pic's from yesterday in this post and some pics from today in my next post the symptoms seem to be progressing very fast.

when in doubt, flush it out.

if you have a crap load of nitrogen in the soil, it could lead to a nute lockout. nitrogen is great, but it's just like any other additive, you have to watch out how much you are putting in...

You didn't mention lights or age of plant, but there is no way that pot holds 8 cu. ft. of soil
I think you're burning it from all that blood meal you added, along with so much lime.
It sounds like you may have discovered a new way of measuring, so you may want to repot that into some fresh soil without lime, the blood and bone meal.
(also that soil looks pretty dry)

The plant has 4 100 watt equivalent 6500 k CLF's covering it and the plant is about a month and a week old, as far as the soil goes that was the soil recipe i made up for all of my plants 8 CU feet total, that pot is a 2.4 gal air pot.

OK, I still think you over did it with the dolomite, bone and blood meal.
I'm looking at your 2.8 cu.ft., 1 cu. ft., and your 25% added, which comes up to less than 5 cu.ft.
I know as you add things, they add volume, but you can't really count the volume of bone meal and blood meal when you figure out how much lime you want, and vice-versa.
I think you're over double the dolomite you wanted,as well as double what you would want for blood meal, and 4 times for bone meal.
That's just rough math, but I think I'm close, going at 1 tbsp/gallon for both blood and bone meal, 1 tbsp/gallon for the lime, and 7.48 gallons per cu. ft., 16 tbsp/ cup.
Going by this, your nitrogen would be way high, potassium high, and your PH real high as well.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out but I am not so sure that toxicity is the problem, this soil came highly recommended by rumple foreskin and from what i have read around the internet it seems to be a decent water only mix that a lot of people have had success with, i have no doubt that the soil might be hot as i have burned seedlings in it before but I'm pretty sure what i am experiencing right now is a mag deficiency because of this video.

1 Bale sunshine mix #2 or promix (3.8 cu ft)
8 cups Bone Meal - phosphorus source
4 cups Blood Meal - nitrogen source
1 1/3 cups Epsom salts - magnesium source
3-4 cups dolomite lime -calcium source & pH buffering
1 tsp fritted trace elements
4 cups kelp meal.
9kg (25 lbs) bag pure worm castings

OK, I didn't see the FF soil in this mixture, like the list of your ingredients in your mix, but I would tend to think that FF and promix should be enough for at least the first couple weeks by themselves.
The peat in the promix wouldn't start breaking down right away, so you wouldn't need the lime yet.

Thanks for your input thus far chucky i could possibly have a nitrogen lock out i haven't checked the ph of this soil since i transplanted into it and this soil has been sitting for a while, i will be checking the run off tonight when i water my plants. This soil mix is actually a bit old i made it up about 2 years ago and it has been setting in tubs since then, i also have another plant that is doing fine in the soil so i don't think that's it, the video i linked has list several symptoms i have been experiencing for a while so i really am thinking its a mag def, even if i did add the Epsom salts i am sure i fucked up and used normal Epsom salts not the kind made for gardening.

Here is a list of the symptoms i am experiencing all of them are listed in the video as symptoms of mag def can anyone confirm that this is the the midway stage of mag def?

Okay so i watered my plants today and my PH from the WR came out to be 7.0, the PH of the BC came out at 7.0 i know that is bad, however i do not believe the results are correct because these fucking air pots leak so much water when i am watering that i am sure it has corrupted my results because lots of the water didn't flow threw the soil, i don't know what to do now but i am pretty sure that i didn't add the correct epsom salts to the soil when i mixed it or i didn't add it at all, should i get some and try and fix the problem or could that possibly make it worse?

Maybe you're missing something in the soil?
I just use 100% ffof except for the sunshine mix 4
I use in the 18 oz cups and 1 gallon pots to start'em
in these are 3rd week flowering with3.7 weeks vegging

Regular epsom salt does not hurt, it just doesn't have the extra stuff in it that the guy in your video mentioned.
Are they still continuing to get worse? put up some new pics, and wait for a couple of the regulars to chime in.

no there is only 1 plant in each Ive topped them a few times that's probably why it looks like there are a few in there, the air pot is 2.4 gal and i just transplanted into it.

Yeah it looks like they are still getting worse i will post up some pictures shorty, i just got back from getting garden grade Epsom salts at the store, i think I'm going to start off by foliar feeding because i just watered and they say it takes effect quicker.

Dude, from here I can see water spots all over the tops of the leaves. These act like tiny magnifying glasses with the light and can burn the leaves quick.(Notice how the leaves closest to the light is already dry?)
Also, if you went to the trouble to foliar, did you do the undersides of the leaves?

I still think you have too much blood meal and lime in your mix. Have you asked that rumpled foreskin guy that gave you the recipe what he thinks yet?

No i haven't man i don't use that forum any more, but rumpleforskin is quite a reputable guy on the forum he comes from i don't think he would steer me in the wrong direction, he claimed he had used the mix for a few years.
