Clean Pieces Vs Dirt Pieces

Me and my token pals always pump heads on why I clean my glass pieces after about every 100 uses or 2 weeks. They say that cleaning my pieces is taking away the "character" from my pieces and that I shouldn't clean them till they get clogged up. I believe that cleaning them gives me a cleaner token experience. I would just like to get other peeps opinions on this matter

Nothing pisses me off like a dirty pipe.

Admittedly, you will find me with the occasional "over-used" dirty pipe laying around. But my bong gets roughly a weekly cleaning.

Now, as for dry hand pipes, your friends may be right depending on the pipe and smoking technique.

Some pipes will work fine if not better when they are all filled with rez.

Other pipes just take on the shittly rez smell and taste.

Factors play in. Size of pipe, qualilty, style, lighter techniques, rez hitting

There is room for debate.

91% Iso Alcohol and Salt once a week for my daily bubblers, then my other dry pipes I clean when they start to taste bad

nothing is worse than a dirty piece. that's not "seasoning", it's filth, and it smells and tastes like shit.

at the very least clean the mouthpiece you fucking slobs. nothing is more disgusting than picking off 2 inches of dried spit and goop around the mouthpiece. how is that okay?

OMG clean your pipes people!! that resin is worthless... and the thing about pipes getting broke in. yeah im pretty sure that doesnt happen with glass. u just get to see some fancy colors if u bought that kind of piece. im a volcano smoker most of the time and now i cant hardly stand dirty bowls. i really dont even like joints that much and certainly not blunts. dirty dirty and a waste of precious thc!

I don't really bother cleaning my pipes. I'm pretty much the only one who smokes out of them and I don't really give a fuck. And I couldn't care less what my friends think if they do smoke out of them, because it's usually my weed they're smoking anyways.

They don't really strike me as dirty though. Sure they've got resin in them, but so what?

Lol, I think you're probably the first person ever to use "mmmm" when referring to smoking resin.

I'll smoke resin, but it tastes like straight up asshole.

I'm a clean freak when it comes to my glass, I like how you really get the flavour of the bud when its clean.....
