Logo and Business Card Design needed

I have been looking at getting business cards designed and also a logo for Medicated Acres. $350 for a logo and business card design sounds a little steep, but getting to pick from several designs is truly bad-ass. I figure I would ask around here first and see if anyone has some skills in this department. Also wondering if anyone has used online design contests to have shit designed. I am looking at also having shirts made, jars, website etc. Here is a few links to the sites I have been looking at.

Anyone interested in doing any design work please pm me, or better yet email me at medicatedacresup at yahoo dot com.

Thank You.

I would get someone to come up with a graphic you like and use it on VistaPrint. You won't be able to beat the price or options elsewhere. Here are a couple shots at graphics.

Damn man, If I still had PS I could hook you up.. I lost PS during my divorce but I should up and buy it again, I miss it, but I'm not buying anytime soon so good luck bro. :)

You need a website built too, Glad? I went to college for web development/design and I occasionally build sites for friends. Haven't done it in awhile tho.

If you know PhotoShop then you should try Gimp.
It's free and maintained for updates by Linux crowd of devs.

The interface is a bit clunky; but it does most PS functions.

Yes. Not sure on details of website, but will need one eventually. Cards and logo right now, probably website by spring.
I even bought software for making logo's, but I want something better than what I will come up with. lol.

Lot faster to steal CS5 than learn gimp. Plus CS5 has Dreamweaver, Flash, Premier, ect. Dreamweaver is a piece of shit, but Flash and Premier can be nice.

Can you keep the black background, and outline the peninsula in green? Only the outline though, so the interior will be black also.
