Anyone else tired of all these " how much yield" questions

1st let me say i know we don't have to read them, so any smart ass that was gonna say that. Have a nice day.
Anyway, it seems like no matter what thread you go to, somehow or another a newb will pop in with the same old tired ass question. How much do you think i"ll yield/
First off, instead of worrying bout how much yield, you need to be worried bout how to grow the friggn things in the first place.
Second, dont come on here with a pic of a 3in tall plant and ask what ur gonna get. Later in flower is 1 thing, but a seedling- get real folks.
They must think we have a freakn crystal ball sitting on our coffee tables that we can just ask. How much is dumbass gonna yield off their 3in plant.
If you want an idea of your yield. Research the strain to find average yield, then figure on 25% of that if you even finish it all the way out.
There's a whole lot more you need to worrying bout than yield, like how to keep it healthy during veg. so you can have a decent yield.
Sorry bout the rant, but it seems like you cant get away from that damn question. Im not talking bout threads that were started with that question, but they just hijack other threads.. Example... how many times have you seen this post? " Nice plants, how much you think ill yield off this?"
Bet you've seen it a lot.

I have a seed i found in my grandmas bathroom.. Not sure of the strain.. How much do you think it will yield if i plant it?

Wanting to share is one thing, asking how much you will get is another. Everybody should know that the yield will be determined by the level of care the plants receive.

I would guess that most people who haven't done enough research to at least have an idea what yield will be, will yield nothing but a dead plant.


Maybe someone should start a "Want to know how much you will yield?" thread, kind of like the "Want to know if they are ready" thread. Should be good times.:eyesmoke:

To be honest ive never been able to concentrate on how much will i get? I am too focused on keepin em the way ilike em let alone trying to figure out what ill yield, lmao even if i tried i'd never get it right anyway. This sounds like a question a daily toker would ask albeit to guage how much smoke they can have to themsleves or the cash cropper without any experiance. idk really but alot of those questions could be awensered by the op's if they READ before they posted!

If you will check my posts, you will see thats 99% of what i do on here is try and help the new growers out.
I'm all for the excitement they have for their 1st grows, i remember how excited i was. But damnit if theyre anywhere as excited as you say, then they would have done some research, and found thats its impossible to tell yield from such small plants.
All im saying is for people to use a lil common sense when asking their question.
Sorry if post offended you, but im sure theres a lot of people who feel the same as i do.

I am more concerned with how good I can make it than how much I will get...

It's because they have absolutely no clue on what to expect from yield. They have no experience. We were all their once.

I never get "tired" of it. I look forward to seeing who says "at least a pound" first. Sometimes I'm the lucky bastard. It doesn't hurt anyone, well, almost no one. In my early growing days I once posted a pic of a bud and asked if anyone could ID it for me. The several pages fo responses that followed were a great laugh and lesson. It's the newbie section for a reason.

What's really bothering you, my friend?
