I used to buy weed on sr from the uk also bought hash from amsterdam on there, very good stuff, am broke atm so thats out for me. went to bed at 1130pm and dident get to sleep til after 9am then a dick rang me at 10am and woke me up, sleep just cant happen for me without weed what a nightmare!!!

say the hash from the dam was special... god i love a bt of hash, still haven`t found any of that soapbar was meant to be about, and a pity cause 100 notes for an oz and that would last me a week if i ekk it out...


nice heavy smoke, gives you a good hit in the chest when you smoke it....;)

just after having a siesta, I think ill head down to the shops for a chicken roll & then need to do some transplants, its a tough life
put a order in for some hash also i think 1 gram was around 15 euro its meant to be very nice

hard tho when you get the sweats from not smokeing hahahaha and they say its not addictive..

so gave a pint each as the first flush, i`ve no more than a week on these by the looks of them, now i say a pint, its the first they got with no addatives, and no runoff so tomorrow its a litre each and depending on runoff it`ll continue upwards until they get 2 litres each with whatever runoff until there done..

i think this should work as there only lifting clean water from here on in..

there turning bright yellow on the insides now even after i gave then a veg feed monday, so there well on there way.. will get some pics later when they get there second pint of water later...

Sounds good mate, you are doing the soil hempy yeah? you just feed them the same food and keep the ph normal around 6.3? i will be trying soil/hempy soon myself if the coco dont work out

soil hempy style as the res is made from just stones you find about the place and pea stone, not the growing stones that moebius used, cheap and cheerful..

have never measured ph or eec, have no tools for it, or temp either... i`m so lucky that way, i don`t think coco will help me i think if i want more yeild i need more height the 4 ft is no good need to go the full height of the shed...

Story Lads!!!

I'm starting my very first grow and have done all the research and still reading. i decided i would build a grow box which is currently in construction.
I have a 150w cfl industrial bulb (not by choice) broke a brand new 125w cfl growlight that morn straight out of the box to the ground!

What id like to know is will it be ok to just use the 150w all the way through the cycle? its pretty damn bright and quite warm too.
Any other tips would be great too as i am a newbie at this :)

welcome along smiles, let me answer the cfl thing first... no it won`t do, it`ll veg your plant but when flowering get a hps or a lot more cfls, trust me i`ve done the cfl and you`ll not be happy when the yeild comes, after all the minding and waiting are done..

you`ll have it smoked in a week or two...

and what kelvin is the light it should be writtten on the side of the bulb, for veg you want 6500k, which is more blue spectrum..

no its just about the roof of the kelvin level you want for veg.. should be grnd, on the heat, plug it in and allow it to get to max heat so say 30 mins or so, then place a hand under it, move your hand away until its comfortable thats where theplant needs to be, with ordinary cfls you can leave them a couple of inchs from the tops which gives you rich green plants with tight nodes, a cfl like yours could cause strech ???? as you`ll have to keep lifting it up off the plants, a circulateing fan should solve the heat issue tho.

Just letting it warm up now, il be getting chain and dome hooks for height adjustments so hopefully might be able to avoid too much stretching, Im running two pc fans, one intake and the other exhaust. will i have to get a different bulb for flowering or could this bring me the whole way through the process? Not looking for massive yeilds, just enough to keep me going for a while

well how much do you smoke?? if you get photo period seeds then it will take you through the grow, but it will add weeks to your strain finish time eg: 8 week will become 11 week strain etc...

and yeild will be piss poor, in the region of 12 to 14 grams at a complete guess... not economical..

you can buy some extra cfls cheap and wire them together to one plug, i have 4 65w cfl`s wired to one plug head and its pulling only 3amps across the fuse so safe as anything and cheap as chips to run..

Id be happy with a half o, more then that il be delighted, and if its grows good il try clone a bit, i have 3 female green poison seeds, i idnt want to start with bag seeds as i didnt want to be let down if it was male. this one light is a mere 0.7 amp so i wont even notice it on the bill. i got gp because its robust and suppose to be a good and quicker yield they are sweet seed. 4 65w sounds like a good idea, is that for flowering?

Bulb is warmed up bout 2 to 4 inches with my had??

well thats not too bad so you can leave it practiclly on top of them, still get a circ fan tho it will help build stem strenght aswell, the string of cfl`s i have, i have two of them one for veg there 6500k and one for flower there 2700k...

should look into more lights you will regret it ffurther down the line, and after waiting full grow you want the best...
