mag wobble on ak47

Got a WASR 10? Mine wobbles quite a bit but once I got the mags broken in I had no issues. I've heard you can take it to a gunsmith and he can weld plates inside the mag well to stop the wobble but that sometimes causes issues too. If I had to do it over I would have bought a different AK but it gets the job done.

I think he is referring specifically to the Romanian WASR 10, which was converted from single stack magazines to double stack. They cut out the mag well a bit so the double stacks will fit, which in some cases causes a lot of wobble.

when i was buying sks's russian rebuilds were under a hundred bucks. at the time i figured it was the best bang for the buck in semi auto. for 250, i would hold off and save up for a ak

I'm lookin to get a Mosin Nagant here pretty soon. Its only 100 bucks and cheap to shoot. Should be a nice starter gun..

Plus I'm a WW2 buff so it has added value.
