last plant got bud rot :( New soil mix suggestions

usually you will get bud rot if you have high humidity the last couple of weeks of flowering. your biggest stickiest tops will be hit and it starts in the middle of the bud and works its way out. it is hard to spot and by the time you see it near the outer portion of the bud, its too late. the middle will be mush.

preventive measure is make sure to have a circ fan going, and run a dehumidifier and get your humidity down to 50 or lower. i like around 35-40% rh.
the dehumidifier will raise your temps so if that is an issue you may need to only run it when lights are out. depending on you ventilation set-up.

budrot can ruin most of your crop in a short time.

Don't know about giggles but I usually get bud rot in the buds. (wish I fucking didn't though)

Lol I'm sorry guys I've been smoking on my super skunk lately and well you know how that goes I've been in outer space :). If I ever got bud rot it would of been inside my bud due to poor drying/curing conditions.

Don't believe soil has ever caused bud rot that I'm aware of. Unless your growing in mud or clay where it wont drain at all I would think that with perlite and decent soil would drain just fine.
