I really want this strain. I really really want this strain.
Do you have it? If so what do you think of it, taste, potency, yield? It's been in Michigan since '97
It's clone only, but there are a bunch of imposter strains of the same name.is there a seedbank that carries it?
What makes it so tough to grow well? Tricky with nutes or something? It is the strain that made me fall in love with cannabis. First time I smoked it was in '01 and it has been my favorite strain since. It has a light strawberry aroma, but heavy haze overtones, all candy coated haze on the flavor. There is no ceiling to the high, gets you high every time even if you have been smoking only cough for weeks. I've been growing it for 6 years. It's very tough to grow well. But it will produce high quality large nugs if done right.
Thanks man... I really hope I can get my hands on a cut. What do you run your PPM at, and sorry for so many questions...Just craves nitrogen, will yellow out in week 4 of bloom if you don't supplement the first few weeks. But it's a thin line, cause if you over fert, it locks out easy and hardly produces any nugs. Plus when you grow it right it fattens up so much it can't hold itself up. Tying and staking is a must.
Any way I can get a cut out here to cali?It is the strain that made me fall in love with cannabis. First time I smoked it was in '01 and it has been my favorite strain since. Kyle grows for a dispensary out there now. I'm sure you can get cuts there. It's called buds and roses collective. And nightmare, the strawberry diesel mom is kksc. The mom of kksc is strawberry fields.Any way I can get a cut out here to cali?
if i'm not mistaken (again) ... the cut was acquired from the east coast (vermont perhaps) .. and if i remembering the story correct it was a cut or bean that he was assuming to be a throw away pheno and was performing poorly ... i shouldn't be smoking because i literally forgot the rest of the story ......... then again I'm in no position to be telling my recollection of Kushman's adventures ..... i'll leave it to the man or someone close to the man himself ...but .......... i believe you can find the information on YouTube perhaps .... I believe it was a video of him explaining how he acquired the cut.....that's all i got ....sorry folkswhat is kyle kushman's cut is it just a pheno he got from DP strawberry cough or what?
Can you please describe it? Better in what way?I have the Strawberry Diesel Coffin cut. It's a great pheno. It has the same mother as the Kyle Kushman strawberry cough. It's better than the original in my opinion.
yah, strawberry fields was a strain that someone was growing in vermont among a field of strawberry plants.. dude grew them for years and years, then the og grower gave kyle kushman some beans of it... it's said he loved the taste, but it was lacking a bit in the high dpt, so he took the strawberry fields seeds and x'ed them to an unknown haze variety, which is what kyle kushman's strawberry cough is, strawberry fields x an unkown haze..if i'm not mistaken (again) ... the cut was acquired from the east coast (vermont perhaps) .. and if i remembering the story correct it was a cut or bean that he was assuming to be a throw away pheno and was performing poorly ... i shouldn't be smoking because i literally forgot the rest of the story ......... then again I'm in no position to be telling my recollection of Kushman's adventures ..... i'll leave it to the man or someone close to the man himself ...but .......... i believe you can find the information on YouTube perhaps .... The coffin cut is a clone only pheno. It's way more potent than the KKSC but still retains the stawberry color and taste. Can you please describe it? Better in what way?
