My basic soil mix is super cheap and the ingredients are available anywhere.

4-Way Mix:
1 part Topsoil (store bought)
1 part Compost
1 part Composted Steer Manure
1 part Perlite

If you want simple mix 1 bag FFOF 1/2 bag light worrior and a half cup of dolomite lime . I transplant from solo cup to a pint then to a gallon container for flowering under a 400w hps by doing it this way I only have to feed them in the 3rd and 5th week of flower and my results are awsome. I only have to water one time a week and I pull an oz per clone and the taste is delicous and for the nutes I use the 40 darra organic recipe for success by technaflora I've ran about 6 cycles and still have atleast 6 more the only thing I've run short on was the cloning gel but clonex singal packs are cheap enough to buy when its time here's one of my girls from 5 secs ago and a week or two from chop

I mean think about it if your gonna spend all your time , effort , and not to mention risk of completing a succesful soil grow then 23 bucks for the base of the whole grow is not much and yes promix is a great but you'll spend way more on nutes due to it being a soiless mix that's money from the start to the finish and to use a full line of nutes are way more exspenive than that 23 bucks
