I feel that some may think my 'dumb people' thread may have contained some negativity. So, this thread is to balance out Karma and whatnot. I want this thread to be about something positive.

Oh...there's not always a divide, but I've met a lot of people who can read anything and know it (in theory) but ask them to use common sense to solve a problem in the real world and they're lost. My personal opinion is that it has nothing to do w/how smart they are and everything to do with feeling fearful of making a mistake...but that's just me.

proof of this for me is the tv show jeopardy.. i've seen people from pretty much every state do a stellar job on the show.. north, south, east, and west, the us is surely the best..
