Wow, you must have smoked some fake GDP or badly grown.

No, I just live in Cali so I have access to good strains. GDP is average at best even when grown well but that's really a matter of opinion. My favorites are OGK, Chem4, and UK Cheese. GDP is sometimes fruity but more grapes that fruity pebbles to me.

I keep hearing from people that purple strains just don't get them as high. For the most part, that applies to me too. Purple strains, are more for bag appeal. I'm not saying they are bad, they just don't have the kick like good green does.

dude if you can get your hands on fruity juice(juicy fruit) female clones, GET THEM! the best, most powerful, best tasting smoke I have ever smoked. Looked fucking amazing too. Omg...I wish I cud get my hands on that again. Btw fruity juice is a mix of thailand sativa and afghanistan indica. Its tasted soooo sweet. I read that it has great yeilds from descriptions, but again, i do know first hand it tasted incredible smells amazing, looks great and gets you soooo fucked up. almost trippy like. I have looked online where to get juicy fruit and the only place i can find is from sensi seeds/ attitude seedbank. and they are only regular seeds so you would have to grow a few and pick out a female and clone her. I plan on growing this after I get money to buy the seeds ....Im gonna have to look around for this fruity pebbles and see what I can find out though.
I've tried a pure landrace thai sativa that smelled/tasted exactly like juicy fruit brand gum; it was amazing that way.

Problem was, it also had every negative feature of pure sativas: Stretchy, pathetic low yield, took forever to finish, AND always hermied. It also wasn't all that potent, and I'd have to say that the total negatives outweighed the lone positive.

Still, I think there are any number of strains that incorporate the fruity flavor/scent from Thai plants, but in a better hybrid package (eg DJ short's Blueberry and fifty other "berry" strains).

also heard old timers talk about pinconing peralizor (excuse my spelling) but cant say i ever had the pleasure of trying it...
That would be the "Pinconning paralyzer", which was a famous locally grown strain from Pinconning Michigan.

Never tried it, but there are some stories associated with it

You can read one here:

Juicy Fruit and Fruity Pebbles are two different strains and flavors as well!
Some well grown Purps can have a fruity pebbles flavor......but the Frutiest Pebbles flavor was from a certain pheno of the original Trainwreck!
If you have access to the Cannabible 2 or can access it on line....check his Trainwreck pictures!
The Fruity Pebbles pheno is the one at the very bottom of page 166.
If this is what yours looked like....the only other person i know that might have this is Reeferman, as he is the only other one i know that got beans from Hillbilly Farmer, the proprietor of this awesome strain!!!
Good luck!

Thats a great question!
I personally think it might be different from the "Arcata" Trainwreck, because these were regular seeds and not feminised.
I think, but not positive, the Arcata is a clone strain.......and i have not gotten this flavor from any other Trainwreck i've tried, but one did have a very diluted version of fruity pebbles.
Its possible you might find that flavor in a batch of Arcata fems.....but i had never heard of Trainwreck before i aquired these beans in early 2000.....then the strain got super popular and all this hype of the origins and then the Arcata cut, then some stories that Trainwreck meant something like some breeding phenomenon, that certain pollenating of crops, certain years were called a "trainwreck" of something like that!
Sometimes the legend behind a good strain is sooooo hyped up that everyone swears they were the originators of the strain, or they know the real story, or related to the originators!

So i wish you the best on your search.....and if you do find that strain....please put up a post for the rest of us who would love to get ahold of this strain again!

I think it was the syrupy sweetness, mixed with the lemon-limey citrus.....that creates the Fruity Pebbles flavor!
