Day 13
It was a PH issue!
My Ph test kit came in yesterday while I was at work so when I got home I decided it was time for a major flush right then. I quickly checked the PhHof the Crystal Geyser Natural Spring Water, 6.8, so I poured 1/2 a Gallon into each pot and waited, when the water started to drain out the bottom I tested the PH of the RO Water, the test I have only measures 6.0 - 7.8, the RO Water was testing a dark blue which was over what the color chart measured, so the PH was over 7.8, I immediately poured the other .5 gallons of water into each pot, giving both of them a total of 1 gallon of water. 10 minutes later I test the RO Water from the pots again and it registered on the color chart to be between 6.8 and 7.0 . Checked on the plants this morning and they are doing great! The new leaves that were not damaged are turning up towards the light again and putting out new growth! SO glad to have that worked out, gonna veg for a little over 2 weeks more then going to switch over to flowering, purchasing a light timer at the hydro store tomorrow and setting the lights at 20 on/4 off. Also purchasing a digital PH reader, some nutes.. still not sure which kind yet (gonna talk to the people at the store about new products) and some cloning gel. Happy growing guys, glad to have everything balanced!
