No, that's another I saved, to use for amusement, like the ones from bmeat.
bmeat has been pretty generous with the sig. worthy quotes the past couple days, as long as people know the difference that I'm posting them for amusement purposes ONLY, not because I believe any of it.

...just so you guys know, urine IS usable as a fertilizer so he's not TOTALLY full of shit. ...and maybe we should say he's often wrong rather than full of shit, ...if we GIVE rude, we're likely to GET rude in return.

How to Use Urine as Fertilizer

...i'm just trying to stay focused on the fact that we come here to help each other, not to bash each other.

peace, bozo

thank you bozo. i will stick by my organic>urine>chemical nutes. there is no doubt in my mind though, that chemical nutes grow the biggest plants.

urine is mainly urea, an organic form of nitrogen. it also has p and k in it, and it also has the excess vitamins (micronutes) that our body doesnt use. i would not use it on the grow more than 2-3 times though throughout its life. then again, i dont even use my fish emulsion that much. (fish emulsion is probably ground up urine, poop, bladder, instestine, skin everything) and probably a lot less "sterile" than your own urine. urea is also mainly soluable in water, so itll feed the plant right away. it also has some insouable nutrients, so itll feed for a bit as well. win win situation.

ALSO, urine has a ph of 6-7 in a healthy persons. itll buffer your soil without any guess work, or any other chemical.

"Urine contains large quantities of nitrogen (mostly as urea), as well as significant quantities of dissolved phosphates and potassium, the main macronutrients required by plants, with urine having plant macronutrient percentages (i.e. NPK) of approximately 11-1-2 by one study[SUP][18][/SUP] or 15-1-2 by another report,[SUP][19][/SUP] illustrating that exact composition varies with diet. Undiluted, it can chemically burn the roots of some plants, but it can be used safely as a source of complementary nitrogen in carbon-rich compost.[SUP][20][/SUP]
When diluted with water (at a 1:5 ratio for container-grown annual crops with fresh growing medium each season,[SUP][21][/SUP] or a 1:8 ratio for more general use[SUP][20][/SUP]), it can be applied directly to soil as a fertilizer. The fertilization effect of urine has been found to be comparable to that of commercial fertilizers with an equivalent NPK rating.[SUP][22][/SUP] Urine contains most (94% according to Wolgast[SUP][18][/SUP]) of the NPK nutrients excreted by the human body. Conversely, concentrations of heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, commonly found in solid human waste, are much lower in urine (though not low enough to qualify for use in organic agriculture under current EU rules).[SUP][23][/SUP] The more general limitations to using urine as fertilizer then depend mainly on the potential for buildup of excess nitrogen (due to the high ratio of that macronutrient),[SUP][21][/SUP] and inorganic salts such as sodium chloride, which are also part of the wastes excreted by the renal system. The degree to which these factors impact the effectiveness depends on the term of use, salinity tolerance of the plant, soil composition, addition of other fertilizing compounds, and quantity of rainfall or other irrigation.

My piss is 90% Jack Daniels, home made beef jerky and smoked salmon.
Let's see ya put that on your plants.
lmao. salmon and beef jerky would produce great urine, besides the excess salt. tons of good proteins, enzymes and growth hormones.

liquor..not so much! my urine is 50% lager and wine lol

He be right. Piss has been used for ages. I have used it as well (diluted like bmeat said) and have had good results. I have a degree in bio and chem and everything he said is essentially on point. Piss is super sterile, in most cases. However it will tend to leave a rather hmm... "familiar" smell in the room if you use a sprayer ha..

But hey anything to reduce or mask pot smell right? lol

well, if you use it too much, itll convert to ammonia, which is actually used as a cleaning agent! so itll kill fungus spores too!

i wouldnt foliar feed with it, thats just nasty. just use it on the soil, 2-4 times throughout the plants life, or else youll get a salt buildup, and need a flushing, literally.

urine is sterile in the bladder, but it picks up whatever bacteria is in the urethra, which is not a substiantial enough of bacteria to cause harm, its actually good bacteria in there, that maintains ph and homeostasis.

unless you have a uti kidney or bladder infection. then dont use, you have an overgrowth of a bacterium that can harm the plant.

Dam, you haven't mastered cultivation yet, and you're already trying to be a fucking doctor?

Nice to see youve been reading more. I belive in urine to be a good natural source of fertilizer but have never tried it. Ive wanted to dont get me wrong. Ive just always been scared of anyone finding a bottle of urine in my house, or kicking that can over on the floor. Miricle grow has high urea content for six bucks but i dont know if its natural urine they use or the chemicaly reproduced urea that theyve been making for years now. Ill probably try it on one of my outdoor vegetables this season, its going to be tough to bring myself to go traipsing around my garden with a vat of piss water while im stoned. I want to do it because id eventually love to have a garden that i can just feed stuff that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Theres got to be a way you can run a zero dollar fertz garden out there. Maybe thatll be my next google search :)

its ammonium nitrate..a very harsh salt that you can make explosives out of..

urea, processed and filtered by the body is a organic compound.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urea organic compound

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ammonium_nitrate inorganic

"The chemical compound ammonium nitrate, the nitrate of ammonia with the chemical formula NH[SUB]4[/SUB]NO[SUB]3[/SUB], is a white crystalline solid at room temperature and standard pressure. It is commonly used in agriculture as a high-nitrogen fertilizer, and it has also been used as an oxidizing agent in explosives, including improvised explosive devices. It is the main component of ANFO, a popular explosive. It is used in instant cold packs, as hydrating the salt is an endothermic process."

i know more about chemicals than growing bakatare.

in my grow journal..ill be using urine on one plant and a 2-2-2 fish emulsion on the other one, just for shits and giggles. they are the same exact strain, and broke earth on the same day. since i have super soil though, i wont be using fertz until about week 4-5.

So that information is correct about urine? If so my appologies bmeat,,
yup, tis all right to use.

makes me wonder if it couls make a strong court case for public urination..
"Officer, I am saving the planet with my pee!", ha then you get arrested all the while the po-po's car is still on emitting noxious fumes..

they should be arrested not use earth savers.. haha...
