Most reliable Kush strain.

Just had a bad experience with Kosher Kush from Reserva Privada - put me right off trying that again. Also had a bad experience with Vanilla Kush from Barney's Farm (although I did manage to take one from a five pack through to completion at least, and she was amazing smoke). Very keen to try a decent kush strain, but need some reliability and consistency; and any history of hermies in the strain will put me right off.

So, recommendations for good Kush seed strains please. Feminised is preferred, but I will consider regular strains. Thanks!

Growin out DNA's Holy Grail Kush right now, apparently the smoke is quite good. She's about 3 weeks into flower right now. I can say she is quite stretchy for an indica, which I've noticed is common with THGK and other kush's.

Can never go wrong with OG kush or Skywalker Kush though, both fantastic strains.

that's because og kushes aren't indica's, they're more hybrids, some even with a heavy sativa influence...

check out some of rare dankness' gear.. scott's and ghost train og are two that come to mind..
also just heard someone talking up bear og from karma, which sounds nice..
goji og from bodhi also comes to mind..
i ran dr greenthumbs ghost cut of og, and that thing was amazing.. fem's as well, but far from cheap..
or gage green's grape stomper og if you can get your hands on it is always nice.. :D

Yea I know, but mine still stretched way more than usual even for hybrids. But The Holy Grail Kush has a stretchy pheno, that I def got.

You got a good point though, that OG Ghost Train Haze is the winner for sure. Its always sold out on attitude though which is where I get all my gear.

I'm just now finishing my first grow and also had problems with some Kosher's I'm running an OG-Kush and a Cannalope Kush and I'm real interested in smoking them ladies.

Bigby..what probs did you have with the Kosher Kush? I haven't grown that but have had good luck generally with Reserva Prevada's gear? Just curious.

Kushage from T H Seeds. Easy and fast to clone, big yields with a FIM and finishes for me right at 5 weeks.

Couple went hermie as soon as they showed sex. Proper hermie too, equal male and female flowers. I'm anxious the final one will too - I will dump her if she does, should be able to tell in the next few days. It's not a massive downer, as I have 3 Sugar Punch from Sannie that are looking amazing. I'm really disappointed I'm not gonna be getting any Kush though, was hoping for some OG flavour in time for the GTA5 release.

But yeah, I should have considered before asking for the Kosher - just that it was an Xmas pressie, so I thought why not. I'm not going to totally discount DNA in the future - this thread is swaying their way for sure. So, Kandy and Cataract are getting hermie safety calls from peeps here - they are two strains I've looked at before. Anyone tried both - which is better tasting generally? I'm a bit anxious about the Holy Grail as it feels like a potential cash in strain to me, like the Kosher (to me personally, not judging anyone else for feeling differently). Anyone tried the OG18? She seems popular.

Thanks again for the other suggestions. The Rare Dankness and Bear OG look particularly interesting. Seriously considering a regular seed grow, they will be seriously considered if I do. Nice one peeps.

I'm good man - yourself?

Had a couple of Kosher go hermie in near perfect conditions, after having a mad shack go hermie on me last grow (through my fault this time, light on when it should have been off). Disappointing. Gonna have flower room in about 8 weeks, keen to get a kush on the go to throw in then. Needs to be feminised this time, but considering a regular grow after the summer holidays. Not tried Dinafem, I'll check out your journal dude - yours are opinions I trust.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. So, you had problems with the Kosher; but have not had problems with other DNA/Reserva kush strains in the same grow environment?

Mine also was a freebie single seed from Reserva Privada I got as part of a promotion. I had no intention of running it but ended up keeping the mom for two years and did 4 runs of it because it was so awesome in yield and the best dense nugs. Everyone who smoked it said it was the best. Definitely worth it

i had holy grail & it didnt turn out well for me & so far neither is their o.g. so far but i would like to try the kandy kush as well as their sour kush i had a real good cut of 707 headband that i let get away & have never been able to replace
