How would you control guns?

How should we regulate guns?

What's difficult to comprehend is that you label me as unstable when you know nothing of me. That said, you obviously have no idea how a 'gun-free' zone works, or you wouldn't have said "The logic behind gun free zones is that unstable people such as yourself don't legally bring a gun into such a place like a school, and get into an argument about how great FOX News is and lose your temper and pull out your gun." If a school is posted as being 'gun-free' ... per Michigan state law..(as an example) it's officially a gun-free zone, which law abiding carriers will honor, and respect. Any who do not care whatsoever, and are ready to murder a good amount of people, (see: Sandy Hook) would just let the rounds fly... oh wait, that doesn't happen, the 'gun-free' zone stopped Sandy Hook - I stand corrected.

IQ and whether God determines sporting events has zero relevance in this discussion, unless you truly believe that a 'sub-standard' IQ would actually keep the populace more 'safe' than it would be otherwise.

Yes, if you operate on the notion that more guns = less crime then you certainly operate in a fear based delusional paranoia fantasy and are unstable.

The hard fact of the matter is statistics show the more legal gun owners, the less crime.

It may not fit into your agenda, but saying the sky is green when it's blatantly blue makes you look like you have "special needs".

Take your helmet off before your bath, and don't lick the windows when it's too cold out.

I'm not sure you're in any position to give titles or labels, considering you didn't even understand the concept of the 30-06 sign, and how without other measures it does nothing whatsoever other than keep guns out of the hands of those who would more than likely wish to keep those in the area they'd be entering safe. Open invite, come on over to Michigan - we'll visit downtown Detroit or Flint at 2am, walking the downtown area and see if your mind changes in the least bit, or if you, myself, the both of us end up getting shot or stabbed so a meth head can steal our shoes to sell for 5 bucks.

they also talk about assault trees (red1966) and eventually being forced to defend themselves with spoons (kelly4).

these people are not rational. they are, in short, goddamn idiots.

I wish we had 3.09.. we're ranging 3.25-3.85, depending on the part of the state we're in at this time. (Michigan)

Then why aren't "they" on your ignore list? If all you can do is cast insults, you might as well ignore "them". SOOOoooo closed-minded for a liberal.

The only thing we need is a well-armed society, paranoia of wondering 'is that person armed?' will prevent quite a few crimes, and stop others. As for schools, 4 military vets w/full background and psych check fully armed, w/full body armor would be quite nice. Pick a door and guard it. :D
It's not paranoia when you know for certain fact. I assume everyone is armed. That is just the way it is in my State and I like it. Road rage has plummeted. The crime rate is down and police funding down at the same time.

Saw a stat the other day. Since 1990, USA gun owner ship has doubled and crime is now 3/4 of 1990. But, we have a lot more people, less cops, etc. Criminal are cowards, and they don't practice much like an armed civilian does.

Well said, but watch out.. I got referred to as unstable for being pro-gun and pointing out that a 30-06 sign does fuckall if there's no real enforcement to go with it. He has his views, I have mine... the difference is just that my odds are much higher of survival should a meth head charge me than his are if he's armed with a piece of paper, a candy bar, and some Christmas lights. (Unless he's MacGuyver)

I don't care what people refer to me as. It's part of the truth that sets you free. Be Now. No worries. :)

The numb-nuts are getting very shrill. They sense blood. And they are in frenzy. Yet, there is the facts. And the facts don't lie.

Based on his statement, maybe we all should be armed, and not another law pasted until we regain control.

Statement at 2:00 but the whole interview is good.

How does one fill a lawnmower or a chainsaw?

ANALEXCESSGAY1 might need to know if he expands his "lawn technician" business to there...we've no idea what he's capable of.

Well, we don't need another gun thread.....

I was doing some light, fact checking about guns vs violence. Where are the facts?!?!? So, I got lost in the lies and I guess I'll just show the two polar examples and give up. First is Mother Jones. Again, I just got here randomly via search terms.

But when I started to check the Jones "facts" I got to FactCheck.org for some new and different facts.....oh, who cares?

The problem is Ms Jones didn't provide a bit of references. So you be the judge of the bullshit.

I own 4 guns that were built before 1920 that were family heirlooms. All 4 of them would be illegal in NY and I would be "asked" to turn them in. One of the guns is an old 10guage from the 1880's that my great grandfather cut down to 17 inches. I've never fired the gun but sure would hate to have it taken from me because some nut killed some kids with a gun nothing like mine. I doubt it's worth much to anyone other than me.

I say, piss on NY and any state that says a firearm is illegal. I have a 1890 winchester pump 22 and a pair M1 Garands that I wouldn't part with for noone or nothing for that matter. Not to mention my newer firearms.
The only force on earth that will get my guns is death itself, and that mofo better have a damn good reason or his ass gets shot too.

The only guns being lost now and ever are the ones people give up. Give up your guns, might as well give up your life while your at it.

Peace
