America is always front and center when it comes to criticism but this is just a reminder we're not only one flawed. Apparently the Irish figured horse is close enough to beef for the British. A processing plant in Ireland has sent lasagna and hamburger meat with up to 60% horse meat to British markets. This company also servers Burger King which has confirmed using the tainted meat.

Guees I like horse meat better than whatever McDonalds is serving

that would be kangaroo, donkey, muskrat, nutria, and any of a variety of non-cow meat substitutes.

a quick interweb search reveals that it's all urban myth (focusing on the preposterous earthworm nonsense) but the fact remains, back in the 90's mcdonalds imported a shitload of questionable meat from around the world (before the mad cow hysteria) and random spot checks turned up kangaroo more often than any other amendment material save sawdust in "meat' destined for mcdonald's suppliers.

shhh keep it on the low low.

just like the quietly conducted investigation at a hormel hotdog plant on the east coast which was rumored to contain more than the allowed percentage of deceased mafioso.

we'll just keep that under our hats though.

That kind of horseshit doesn't happen with vegans. We wash our veggies.

Most of us vegans start with the raw plant ingredients. Unlike you meat eaters who don't care who processes your veggies first.

Aborted human fetus kidney cells FTW!

Apparently the meat plant involved used an imported Polish additive that contained horse. Pretty fucked.

Anyone with any sort of taste-buds wouldn't eat that processed, fake, grey, frozen shit anyways.

If you've some modicum of self respect, make your own burgers from ground steak mince.

I had horsemeat sausage in Vienna. With sweet onion mustard and a Budweiser (the real one from Budvár) and some Lángos. Pure heaven ... in fact nowt but whin'. cn
