yeah that's like twenty bulbs or so? hey what wattage each are they if you don't mind me askin, and also I just ordered two '130w' 6400 cfls, and plan to add more, but will there be a heat issue at all do u think? I'll have passive intakes and extraction fan.

Agreed, I was thinkin, so many lights, but they're floating above the plant... was wondering if it's just for the pic, maybe he had them pulled up at the time?

OP, you know you can put those CFL's within less than an inch of the leaf surface safely, right?

Otherwise, congrats, that looks great! Nice big soil container... room to expand in the cab... and a very nice even bush canopy all around which should work nicely with the CFL-convenience of being able to position the bulbs individually.

The position you have the bulbs in right now is ready for a plant that's a good bit later in life... I'd move all the light bulbs inward for now, as close as possible.

Also, try to make it so the SIDE of each CFL is facing the foliage, as the light emits most brightly from the side rather than the end. And some reflectors couldn't hurt... I would do some work on the lighting... everything else seems nice enough... got ventilation or do you keep that door open? And is that a fly or ant trap or something? Got some bugs?

  • The only difference is that the plants and buds would have been substantially bigger if the CFL's had been much closer to the plants from the get go to the end of veg and your plants would have still been able to breath fine with some air movement.
    Again, this is my take and your grow looks great. Absolutely

Three times bigger huh....wow.....I don't know what ur thinking but I don't think u understand what ur looking at or what ur saying....no disrespect.

Wasn't trying to b an ass to dude above...if I wanted a plant 3times bigger that's what I'd grow...did u see my set up?....and I doubt I can get bigger buds...I average over two ounces per plant on 20 inch tall plants vegged for a month....w cfls..... I know where ur coming from the general re is close close close....I've moved past that...this is advanced cfl growing...haha....sorry that made me laugh

I meant to say they would be substantially bigger if the lights are closer from the get go
and they still would be able to breath fine. Big fat stalk with little vegetation shows that
the lights were too much too far from the plants during veg. With that size of stalk, the plant(s)
should be much bigger. This is fact even with hardcore Indicas.
No disrespect either as your
plants look super sweet to say the least.
