Thinking of coming out to Cali for some cuts

Okay, so I'm not on the west coast (I'm pretty far away actually) but was planning on taking a trip out there to pick up some cuts. But I've been doing research and from what I've seen a lot of the dispensaries are pretty inconsistent and sometimes falsely advertise their products... I was looking at Imedz and Harborside for cuts like GSC, Platinum Cherry Pie and Blue Dream but I can't afford to take a trip out there if the cuts are bad or not what they say they are... So I'd appreciate it if any of you Cali growers can let me know if these places and strains are legit or if there are any other places are legit... Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

you wont be able to get into a dispensary without a cali med card and a cali ID...
people talk shit about harborside's clones...they have always been pretty good to me...but, the guys that work there suck massive wang...

You can always just go to Colorado instead of cali and yes anywhere you go your going to deal with the dispensery's most likely having shitty clones but there are good ones out there.

Yeah, I've thought of the Colorado thing, but there's a bunch more info online about Cali dispensaries than Colorado dispensaries, so I'm feeling a little more comfortable with Cali (which isn't saying much). I may just go with seeds, but I'd really like to avoid that for a couple of reasons... So if you or anyone else had good luck with any dispensaries or clones, please name them. Thanks...

I can say that Attitude seed bank is very reliable and safe about mailing seeds.

I'm not so worried about the mailing process... My problem is that I'm pretty stubborn about getting an elite cut and I don't have the time to go pheno hunting (I really don't)... so the clone route is my only option. If I have to go the seed route, then I will but I want to avoid it at all costs...

Well if your wanting a elite cut then your best bet is to get a good strain of seeds from a reliable breeder and grow a good mother and get good at taking clones. Then you have all the cuttings you want all day. Also you don't have to do a lot of searching to get a good pheno of the strain you want. Cali Connection is good along with T.H. Seeds and Soma Seeds.

at harborside....i like dark heart nursery,medicinal organics,queen bee and house of david's clones at harborside..i tend to steer clear of the no name clones...unless something sounds awesome...
dhn's blue dream is hands down epic...

get queen bee's xj-13 ....my family loves it...it's g13 x jack (clone only)
if you goto harborside check out oakland organics ...they have alot of the same clone vendors....

You are not going to get an elite cut at a dispensary. If you are lucky you will get decent genetics with no PM or mites. But you can get those from seed far cheaper and with zero risk of mites or pm etc...

the supposed "ELITE" cuts are bogus bullshit marketing for your very dirty dollar...seeds all the way as I have grown many many that make these crap "Elite" cuts seem like crap

Its all about proper strain choices for good genetics and the optimum environment to express those genetics...ALL FACTORS light, temps, rh, medium, ferts etc....

Easiest way is to get a friend from Cali with a med card to just get them for you. That's what I did except for buying hash, not clones. You can get a medical card as well. You can get a temorary state id based on a temporary mailing address and get a med card based on the temporary state id. I have not done that, but have heard multiple people say that is how to do it if you were going to do something like that.

From what I've seen you're not gonna find great cuts at most dispensaries. Harborside might be worth it -- people that have elite cuts aren't selling'em to dispensaries at a few dollars a pop for the most part. They do exist though. Just because you have an elite clone doesn't mean you're going to get elite results though -- you can fuck an elite clone up and end up with an average potency harvest. You gotta grow elite to get elite results.

I live a few miles from harborside, but I buy seeds...

I just do a pheno hunt once a year or so with around 10 packs of seeds and usually find at least one top shelf keeper that I clone the shit out of and grow for a while.

If youre from out of state and dont have access to clones,the stuff they have there would be decent.
But if you notice the menus, the top shelf weed theyre selling is rarely anything that came from the clones for sale there.

@reef... that's exactly what I was gonna do; just have a friend grab them for me. But from what everyone is saying it looks like I'm just gonna have to do the seed thing unfortunately... This is really gonna slow things down considerably... I wish there was a way around it... but thanks for the help anyway, fellas...

That's the way to do it Bustin that's how I do... except I try to go with at least 20 for my pheno hunts even that's pretty low if you're looking for not just solid dank but that killer elite crazy pheno of legends i just ordered 20 ace of spades to pheno hunt the ultimate black cherry soda pheno... i love the smell of that plant SOOOOOO much just like sweet strawberry soda if you close your eyes and inhale deep it's all enveloping...

The other good thing about seeds is that you are a lot less likely to get busted transporting them across the country if you get pulled over

Imo getting cuts is like opening your garden for a glory hole at a rest stop. A "friend" drove 500 miles to get perfection and brought pm,downey and some more CRAP to my STD free garden. Take a look at mainlining, while you search for phenom you get clones and practice.

Okay then, I think I may just grab 60 seeds and do a pheno hunt... but don any of you guys know of any dispensaries that at least carry some legit OG kush cuts? I hate the yield but love the taste? If not, could you point me in the direction of any potent, spicy tasting seed strains? Or just flat out legit OG tasting seeds?
