Hey Don cool man i think the shear rate of growth is gonna blow u away bro good stuff i do coco too and its close but dwc is a few gears ahead thats fosho..
What is ur ambient room temp?
I got my flower pad set a 78 i do get a 10 degree variance either way i just cant help it in summer it get quite hot where im at..
Its relatively dry i run no dehumidifier yet and its very rarely peaks over 30 percent on a humid day.. The buckets are covered believe it or not i get more humidity and dissipation from my coco when its running on the hotter side.. Long as u can keep ur ambient room temps down in turn keeping that water temp low i think u should be golden... I keep my water set at 68 degrees with my chiller..
Ur room temps are going to be the main factor in keeping that water cool if its not chilled make sence?

thanks for the reply ontheDL, You know i checked it ages ago and it was within range so i didn;t bother since. it's 0c outside at the moment, spring my arse.... i'll set the hydrometer back up in the tent n get back to you, though i get what your're saying man. thanks.

it's not the water temp i'm concerned with but more the RH

Yea doesnt sound like ur going to have many issues with evaporation raising ur RH i think if anything u should see a drop... Its really hot where im at so thats what i battle luckily its just as dry so i have no concerns until monsoon hits i will be picking up a dehumidifier myself before monsoon hits this year tho!
If your already battleing humidity id get something to get it in check with those temps tho i dont think u have anything to worry about ur buckets adding anything to it tho!
Good luck don

LOL. Yeah. That thing is fucking awesome. It was cheap from harbor freight and it even has an adjustable height and a catch all tray on the bottom for scissors and training wire, etc.

This is a new room so I was able to really set things up right and for comfort. Things like rubber anti-fatigue matts and waist high cloning and vegging benches and proper shelves for shit. It's a joy to work down there now. Until harvest time...uggh

Hey don gin, what's your humidity level at? I pay really close attention to mine. I have found that when I am running higher temps (low 80's) when I'm really cranking the co2 that the plants do much better in higher humidity. It's winter here as well and I have been soaking the floor with a hose to get the humidity above 50. Same goes towards the end of flower, lower temps and low humidity. I run lower humidity so I can reduce nutrient strengths (because they are transpiring more) and also I grow pretty damn dense buds an I have run into botrytis when it gets anywhere near 50%.

There is a realt good article in maximum yield...probably still online about vapor pressure differential. It's not just humidity, it's the relationship between humidity and temperature. Vegging and early flower with humidity levels higher than "old school logic" has produced better results for me.

Yea this is awesome really very similar to mine i got 5 1k daisy chained working from the side just like that i really gotta get my shit together and do the screen thing at the moment all my topps are tied up its a pain in the ass to be honest, ive been thinking about getting those round cages from lowes they are cheap enuff but id much rather pull them down for better penetration n boost yield. I hate looking at grows so dialed in like this it reminds me too much of how damn lazy i am wow got alot of work to do tonight!

Supp RL420 good to see u around.
Peace

Ok so legally flying got me motivated to do a lil clean up n figured id snap a few more pixels, not nearly enuff room and to be quite honest i still got alot of cleaning and organizeing to do before im able to take a nice clean snapshot like the one u posted LF ...
Anyhow heres a lil sum sum from flower pad just now girls are sitting at 77degrees humidity 28percent supriseingly and water sitting at a nice chilly 68 degrees i got some weather proofing to do before summer hits tho insulation the whole nine yards i cant play with the heat not this year..
So heres those kola shots!

Looking good DL. I can tell you that I have gone through many a screen before settling on my current design. Pretty cheap and god damn easy.

Get some 1/2" electrical conduit, a couple 1/2" conduit couplers, and a roll of 4' high fencing from Home Depot or lowes.
If your rocking 1k the. 4' wide is where you want to be. So grab the conduit somewhere about 1' from the end, bend a 90 in it. Measure 4' put and make another 90 going the same direction. Now join a pipe on the end with the coupler..measure out how long and bend..you get the picture by now....or your fucking dense. Roll the fence on it and attach with zip ties. Done

Now, just hang it from the ceiling with some kid of thick rope. Harbor freight has the cheap soft polyester rope. Tie one end to the ceiling and on the end that goes to the screen, tie a clove hitch. Tht way you can slide it up and down, etc.

After harvest, for cleaning, and for early veg I raise the side near the wall as high as possible, like almost hitting the light. Then I untie the other side and it swings under and just hangs next to the wall.

Jesus. Should have just made a video. Would have been easier.

Scroging is an art form that after 2 years I am just beginning to master. You have to train early and prune aggressively but the only popcorn in my house is in a hot bag with a picture of an old man on the side of it.

nice fucking scrog bro.
Thanks man, it's quite crowded... There's a bunch of bud sites you cant even see in the pic, still popping up from under leaves. I'm praying I don't have any mold problems later, I have two fans circulating at full blast 24/7. Took a LONG time to veg but I'm hoping to see big numbers come harvest.

Looking good but at the risk of sounding like a dick, almost TOO full. You should really really consider chopping some leaves off. When you get buds so tightly packed like that (besides the risk of boytritus) they never really mature up like the rest of the buds. The parts that get light will stay green and mature and get super frosty, but where the buds touch, they tend to stay yellow and don't ever get that grade A look.

Not trying to diss, just trying to help. There is a point of diminishing return when it comes to packing the scrog. Looks awesome though.
