Hate to say it, but curious is absolutely right, and you're just being rude because you lack the ability to defend yourself. I'm on my very first grow, just got to 12/12 and I spend about 5-6 hours on this site every day reading this "technical stuff". Do you know how many hours I spent learning the difference between K/L/W as they pertain to my lighting? About three hours, thankfully someone like curious came along and told me to sit down, shut up, and listen. You haven't harvested a plant yet, but you're putting down someone else's full flower grow... All because they told you You weren't being thorough enough for them to make sure they gave you the best advice possible. Now stop getting so worked up, hit your bong, go snap some pictures, and come back with a smile and a few Paragraphs. Please and thank you. We will all give you as much advice as we can as soon as we see what's going on.

it seems nowadays every post turns to a bantering match issues dont get addressed you would rather argue with each other then help someone who honestly needs it there are easier ways to pick a fight buy a xbox you'll be in heaven.
to me sounds like your over watering your previous grow the hps would dry them out fast enough where you could over water but now your using cfls and thats not the case, check the weight if its heavy when wet wait till they get light like they're empty weed is resilient iv had plants come back from 120f grow rooms the only thing that could kill them that easy is too much water

yes i do think that over watering is this issue here like you say cos of not drying out the same time as hps. i had done previous about 20 crops from hps all really good quality. does anyone think i am wasting my time with this set up as ican at most get two flowering crops in this tent

BTW thanks every one for advice ! no i need to be more in depth with info will try get as much as possible pics wont be available though as not doing a crop atm . i have read the medical growers bible back to front and taken information in and still continue to read every week

If it wasn't obvious yet from this thread, could have checked some of curious' other posts and it would have been obvious she's trying to be helpful. Only way to do that is with enough ESSENTIAL info.
Good suggestion on the overwatering though, since the change from hps things went bad so that change and its effects is where to look at first.
I gotta ask though, to OP, do you have any pond liner at the bottom of your tent that is toxic directly in UV light? After so many failed attempts I would start suspecting the environment (obviously only if the basics are covered already).

ye i personally think its the environment no i do not have any pond liner just a normal tent nothing in the bottom for drainage just the original tent floor. so far my thaughts on cfl are terrible , but i am thinking that the tents just to small

The smaller Secret Jardin tents can be too small when you use HPS without cooltube, but with 250w cfl it should work fine.
If I were you I would try to find some grow journals from people using a similar setup and possibly learn from their mistakes. And/or start one yourself and explain the reason for it in the first post. You'd be surprised how many people here are willing to help you grow your own. Good luck with the next attempt!

no no as long as your using the right spectrum for veg cfls are can be awesome my last two harvests were with nothing but aside from the cfls being too close and falling on my girls halfway thru flower making the colas crispy like a burnt piece of toast and in some miraculous way growing a massive bud tumor over the burnt part, they went over without a hiccup
