Obama is giving himself a pay cut

2 hours agoObama will give up portion of his salary

CNN White House Producer Becky BrittainWashington (CNN) – President Barack Obama will put 5% of his paycheck back into the federal government's coffers in a show of unity with furloughed federal workers, a senior administration official said Wednesday.
Obama, whose $400,000 annual salary is set in law and can't officially be changed, will write a check made out to the U.S. treasury every month beginning in April. Since the mandatory across-the-board spending cuts went into effect March 1, his payment for last month will be paid retroactively.

Obama raises California money for Democrats while trying not to jeopardize his 2nd-term agenda

President Barack Obama waves from the top of the steps of Air Force One at San Francisco International Airport in San Francisco, Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Obama will be attending Democratic fundraisers while in California.

SAN FRANCISCO — Making a down payment on his vow to go all in for Democrats in 2014, President Barack Obama is courting well-heeled donors in California on a two-day fundraising jaunt that requires the president to walk a fine line: Berate Republicans too much, and Obama could put fragile prospects for achieving his second-term goals in jeopardy.

Thank you tax payers you have just been trolled by Obama

He spends millions vacationing, playing golf with Tiger Woods, sending his wife and daughters to Aspen on the taxpayers dime and then graciously decides to give 20K back to the treasury...

What a guy...

Still haven't answered the question how did Bush with all his massive spending cut the deficit in half from 2004 to 2007?

probably via pork barrel "greese" trap spending. you tell me if it's so important.

history clearly shows republicans inflating deficits, and democrats decreasing deficits. so why will the ones decreasing the spending have some "spalinin" to do?

feel free to tackle that one while you tell me all about "greese" trap glory.

in other words, he does the exact same thing as ALL previous presidents AND puts his money where his mouth is, yet you still find some special and unique contempt?

obamanation!

now go mow a law, sport.

LOL OK. Not a fan of Paul, just telling you what I've I heard. I guess it's more accurate to say "He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year." Whatever this means.

But what I say about Obama stands, he is a fucking fraud, like most of them.

1 thats not his salary
2 he tops the list of relatives working for him that we pay for

1: yep, the staff budget the most congressionals blow on hiring bimbos and flunkies to read the bills for them.

2: he hires his relatives because the can trust them, but he doesnt spend his whole allotment and sends the rest back. how shameful.

3: and barney frank''s boyfriend and domestic partner was running an escort outcall sevice (male prostitutes) out of his congressionally funded apartment in DC... shhhhhh dont say shit. you've lost.

in mathematics, we have these things called vectors. if something gets bigger and bigger, the vector arrow points up. in the case of a deficit, that's a bad thing. if something gets smaller and smaller, the vector arrow points down. when it comes to deficits, that is a good thing.

now, under every republican president in modern history, those vector arrows point up.

under every democratic president in modern history, those vector arrows point down.

so as you should be able to clearly see (but won't, because you are a retard), the republicans are the ones who run up the debt and the democrats are the ones who fix the republican's fuckery.

yet in your mind, the ones who are fixing the problem will have some "splainin to do".

please justify why the ones fixing the problem will have the "splainin to do", rather than the ones who keep racking up all the "dept".

please explain that to me, ya inbred hick retard. justify your nonsense, nonsenseist. ya sister fucking champion of alabama three years running.

My Christ your cuckolding jimmies are a rustled... Must be all that "jersey" in you...

Total debt by president - Obama $5.073 trillion (4 years) vs Bush $3.294 trillion (8 years) but it's all dubyas fault...

So much for "cutting it in half" in the first term... Your ODS is really playing up on you today...

WASHINGTON — Ron Paul failed to translate an impressive fundraising operation into widespread support for his 2008 bid for the presidency, but the Lake Jackson Republican still may end up hitting pay dirt.
To further Paul's Libertarian-leaning agenda, his campaign is exploring a novel way to use millions of dollars in leftover donations: setting up a for-profit publishing company that would focus on free-market economics and personal liberties — causes the Texas congressman holds dear.
Political finance experts say such a business venture funded with some $4 million in political cash would test the bounds of federal campaign finance regulations.

Bucky, I noticed you keep counting the 2009 budget as Bush's spending. Quick question, I know Tarp was nearly a trillion attributed to Bush but how are you counting the stimulus? I wish you would admit it was Bush's plan. That way you could join the correct side that it was a massive failure.

So, why does the stimulus count as Bush spending?

He is such a nuthugger. CBO has already predicted the deficit will begin to uptick again in 2015 after the parlor trick of borrowing at lower interest rate has run its course. Democratic amnesia will kick in and they will sound very republican in 2016 we will be hearing cut cut cut. Buy popcorn because you're going to see some pissed off libtards. This was before the dismal jobs report we're seeing today and even McDonald starting to requiring college degrees for cashiers.

no wonder you're so cranky, you can't get those high tech, fancy McD's jobs. you're stuck losing all your "greese" trap jobs to people who speak english better than you despite their illegal status.

what a shame.

Bucky your a pathetic and Pitiful fool bragging about trillion dollar deficits under Obama...
He has spent like a drunken sailor and will leave office increasing
the debt more than every other president combined. Seriously Buck fuck you should try not
