she didn't have to get the job, she chose to. and if you stayed a summer here, you probably wouldn't consider what i do 'not labour or real work'. there is plenty of labor and work involved with what i do.

i doubt that your weather mirrors the sonoran desert. pity you don't have the ocean's mitigating influence on hot temps like we do here in oregon.

but seriously, i understand. my pa in law, who is an actual jew and not an honorary one like me, he gets shit all the time for being handy. jews are not supposed to be handy.

considering that the men in my (non jewish) family all have their own trades, from carpentry to farming to auto electric to landscaping, i'm pretty much doomed to a physical labor existence as well. not that i mind.
