When you said feed by halos I didn’t understand what you meant but in pictures 3 and 5 they appear to be some kind of light fixture I’ve not seen before , Were you referring to the lights when you said “feed by halos ?

There little plastic circles w holes punched in the bottom that are steaked in the medium a few inches above the base of the plant that are pump operated and drip water onto the plant when scheduled to do so.

Thanks Chef , when I looked a the 4th picture I thought the black lines were air lines and it was a bubbler DWC , I made one of those and it worked okay , so then there would be soil or some kind of medium in the buckets and then the excess water comes out the bottom and returns to a reservoir ? Or am I wrong again ? I have not seen that kind of system sold any where yet , sure is a lot to learn .

No medium it looks like, just water, just like a DWC system, without the hassles of dwc. The buckets are plumbed together, a pump pushes water through the root systems, and somehow he has added the rings to top feed the roots in addition. Another pump or just a t in the line.
RDWC are becoming commercially available, but the best systems still seem to be homemade as this one appears. Not a terribly difficult system, just getting everything to seal is typically the issue. The grommets to seal the pipes to the buckets are expensive. I am sure a little research and you will understand what he has done here.

Some Very STINKY Sour Alien just jarred didnt produce much cause she was rape of clones after vegging 1 week I was able to get 4 healthy clones I didnt take pics of the other one because she down at my other grow location turning her into a mother ASAP, But this girl is a cross of OSDxAlien og you can definitely smell the alien in there not as much as the diesel smell tho SHE REALLY STINKS defnitely a keeper.

Heres one of my own. My Chem4 x ChemD male just starting to flower, and already crystaling up and showing some colour too. I knew he was a keeper from the begginig, and now hes really starting to pull through and even his little pollen sacs are showing purple. Keeper!!!!

On that fine day all of our superheads will bask in the glory of the glass collection and a trash bag full of everything I've grown over the last 16 months and will grow over the next 8 (not long now, only maybe 3 or 4 more blooms if I'm lucky) months on a fine but cold day (I'm sure) in november... but well be warmed by the fire and company of friends who have supported me through all this bullshit. All the FHGC gear will be out and it will be a day to remember!

Chef, when you make your crosses how many plants do you go through to choose? I ask because as you know I'm going to cross a few but don't have the capacity to choose from dozens of plants of a single strain to pheno hunt.

It depends on how the male looks. I usually crack 3-6 beans at the time. I look for the shortest fattest females, and I choose the slowest male to show sex. EC told me a long time ago that the faster males have more hempy in jeans them. Then if the mail is looking like winner I will flower him out and see if he's worth crossing anything. I've had mails auto before I had males grow extremely stretchy, some males that sort of fit the build being the right height with the right strength and branching structure to actually show me that they are worth run in the bloom. Once I see with their structure looks like as they're being bloomed out I'll decide on whether or not to keep the clothes that I've already taken. This 4D male is the first that I've actually kept in a while. But when the have color and frost ten days into bloom along w tight flower clusters, you know u have a winner. Oh and I love all things chem, so it's a pretty easy call for me to keep this guy around! Well just check his progeny in about four months and see how they look and decide if he's a keeper or not.

*edit, I don't toss females if they're lanky, I just won't clone them as I like indicas better than sativa phenos. And that even is questionable cuz you never know what you'll fall in love with till its in your bong.
