Never seen that before. Probably would be a result of terrible genetics. Where did you get the seeds?

to please the ladies of course.

thats probably an african kush strain. ;-)

wait... was that racist?

really thats odd as a motherfucker. did the seed look propper, round, mottled, dark brown or greay, about the size of an "airsoft" pellet?

those cotyledons dont look right, and the true leaves dont look right either...

it's possible thats not even cannabis.

Well, I hate to tell you this but,....they're not round...lol...if I didn't know better, it almost looks like a corn stalk cotyledons, looks healthy grow it and see :eyesmoke:

EDIT: Hell if you can't smoke it, maybe you can eat it.

EDIT NO#2: I am just joking, here let me highlight so you will know...

that is juvenile corn, not corn cotyledons.

corn coyledons look very much lie the ones on the OP's pic, but the true leaves above are of course NOT corn.

when it first pops it's head up corn does have two long bladed cotyledons very much like the Op's plant.

Oh well, so much for tryin to crack a joke...let me ask ya something woody, do you have to be right about everything, or try to prove people wrong??? It was a joke buddy. I've grown corn and weed, and I do know the diff, but thanks for the nice pic..

Its a bag seed... and def not corn hahah. It was planted super early here in BC like the beginning of march just to see what would happen Lots of rain and like no sun. Is it possible that Joe Blow is right about how it was just trying for more light absorbtion? Still weird as shit. And thanks everyone for the opinions.

For everyone's edification weed is a dicot (2 cotyledons), corn and everything else in the grass family is a monocot (1 cotyledon). With monocots the cotyledon never emerges and is never seen above ground.

plants dont subscribe to lamarck's theories. a leeaf cannot change it's basic shape to maximize sun expose any more than you can strech your arms by constantly reaching for the cookie jar.

if that shit worked, we would all have gorilla arms, and 10 foot cocks.

So I guess its a mutation
