i never really saw the big issue with a few nanners, i guess it all depends on what your growing for. if its personal consumption than i would rather have seedy good bud than no bud or seedy shitty bud.
i guess to his thier own though and i sure as hell wouldnt want a whole crop of seeds. but in my experience even in a room with lots of circulation a nanner or 2 barely puts out any seeds, maybe i was just lucky but i have had a couple hermie's and never found a decent seed (and i looked)
anyways best of luck with your crop BEECH hope all turns out well for you. the plus side of growing is if shit hits the fan you can just grow some more. yeah losing a crop to hermie sucks ass but at least this lovely plant is only a 3 month cycle. could be worse, losing a crop of plants that takes years to grow. always look on the bright side m8

I noticed that the buds don't reach their full potential once you start seeing bananas. It's like the stop swelling and stay where they are ya know?
I noticed them and I tried to remove them for a week or soand broke a few off while trying to remove them in the process.
So ended up pollinating the "big 3" from the last op pretty much
I can really see the difference now since I'm looking at a banana free crop at about the same point in time that I saw bananas on the last crop.
The calyxs swell A LOT more and the pistils don't die as hard or fast as they do when you get some pollen on them.
My last pistils seems to all go red in a wave after I started looking for and removing bananas...
And only by gods grace did I not go looking for them in the current crop!
Would have pollinated those too lol!
But I do see what you're saying about it not really mattering if the bananas popped up in a small personal crop lol!
But we're not talking about bananas here haha! We're talking about full blow hermies throwing pollen!
We're talking about a fatalityQ! Whole room has to be sterilized type thing!

I went ahead and gave her a 1/2 gallon water just in case I decide not to!
I'm 100% sure that she's in her harvest window, but not 100% sure if I should pull tomorrow morn..
Thought process is simple....Just looking for the look of riped buds! The trichs are pretty much where I want them, and I'm on really close to 100% cloudy. I might be about 80%-90% right now.
I've been looking at the buds daily tho and I've been watching the pistils change from yellow to reddish brown slowly but surely.
If you look in the pics you'll notice that it looks like a few of those calyx's are about to spew yellow pistils, which is what I've observed the plants do already!
It's like they muster up everything they got an give it one more push! So I'm thinking to myself that I don't wanna miss that opportunity, but looking at the plant, there doesn't seem to be much more room for weight if any...
So my question is what do you guys think?!
Might seem like an attention whore question to ask I know given that I should know my damn self, but a different set of eyes is better than mine I say, given the fact I watch them four hours a day lol

Looks done to me... and kind of agree with you hard to see the buds getting that much bigger on a plant that size. I'd take it when the trichs have the % of amber you like to see. If you wait too long hoping for more yield you're gonna get more amber and couchlocky effects... but then again that could be what you're going for

I think this is how pretty much any strain should be considered "ripe" trichs will be whatever color they are when those genetics finish... If I want sativa high I'll grow a sativa and if I want a heavier high I'll go with indica genetics. Im not going to harvest an indica early because the trichs are going more amber... and some more purer sativas wont even get amber trichs really thats the way they are. <make sense?
So Im basically saying I dont look at trichs anymore, I look at the flowers and the plant as a whole.

And I've read that if you pull as close to 100% cloudy as well, with little to no clear or amber, you get the strongest psycoactive effects that the plants have to offer. You read that too?! I think I wanna get into the game of growing everything to it's full potential as far as potency

I've got swollen calyx's, the receding pistils, 80/90% of them are reddish/brown, and the trich's are very close to 100% cloudy! I don't want amber because I want everything to be at peak performance ya know?! And you said she could sit around a couple days? Why so? Not challenging you, just wondering why you do it bro??
