need help again, no pics yet sorry.. a little question to ask..

hi guys, i have not posted any pics yet of my 2nd grow because of wire cable problems. ( my mom threw out my cellphone cable wires because the )

anyways here is the situation, i'm now planning to use a 4 socket light bulb and put my 2 way socket so that i can put 5 cfl bulbs and turn all of them on in one plug or one switch.

but here is the main problem, the socket is in a chandelier and it's from my grandfather but i call him uncle, it's an old chandelier but i don't know if he still needs it.

so what ya think?

should i use it or not?

i don't know if he will still need it or not.

but i got a feeling that the chandelier is something that reminds him of something or someone.

but one things for sure if i will be using it.

help help i can't decide.

Does mom know about your grow?

Go to the store and buy some y-splitters don't destroy your grandfathers stuff for the sake of your grow

yep, she knows but she gets mad sometimes, i still have my 1 y splitter, but im planning to buy another one if i will be having extra cash.

im not going to destroy it, i'll just remove the 4 socket plug and put it back if he will be needing it.

but you are correct and i should not destroy my grandfather's things just for a plant.

thank you again. i'll update my grow as soon as i have bought the things i needed.

im really excited on posting pics of my grow and show them to you guys, its still small but i hope that its a female.

it's been a year since i have asked the help from you guys, and i still remember that all of you are telling me to save, save, save money.

(well im sorry i really don't have a lot of cash, but all your suggestions, comments and all the topics and from what i have read here helped me out a lot).

You cant save up $75? You could get a 2' 4 bulb high output t5 fixture that would be much better for growing. Bulbs included!

Better coverage, cooler temps, cleaner looking, more efficient, easier to mount, easier to raise and lower, less electricity........ less snobby replies from other growers ;)

You'll probably spend as much buying bulbs, splitters, extension chords, sockets.

hey man if ur stuck on cash or just dont wanna invest to much on ur grow, try what my friend in town does. He goes to thrift stores (value village, jarret centers/salvation army) and gets his stuff dirst cheap, like lamps of all kinds, fans tables, desks, cabinets, humidifiers/dehumidifiers, AC, rubbermaid bins... all these things can be used to grow, ei taking apart living room lamps for the fixture, converting dressers or cabinets into grow boxes,... and everything i usualy under 5$ so if u wanna save money there it is. and if u say ur on welfare or assistance u get most of it for free.

hey mr. myob,

$75 here is a lot in here, and the sun here right now is so freakin hot, (it's summer here and how i wish that i have money so that i can go and explore the beaches here, but too bad i don't have a lot of cash and i don't want to leave my babies alone).

one more thing, i don't have a job, that is why i don't have money, but i save if ever i have extra cash left in my pocket.

thank you for your suggestion, i still have my DIY grow closet, but the other improvised lamps that i found in the house were kept by my mom and i don't know if she will let me borrow it again.

how i wish that i can use other lamps here, especially the chandelier with four sockets but i cant use it because it belongs to my grandfather and maybe one day he might look for it.

You're under 18, anyone who isn't would easily admit their age. I'm 26 going on 27. See how easy that was? I remember being that age and like you I thought I was smarter than everyone.

hey i would like again to thank you because of the thought that i am under 18 but im not. :) a couple of years more and i'll be on my 30's. :(

well tbh if your nearly 30, still living with your mom, and cant afford a few 5 dollar light fixtures, you have bigger things to worry about then growing weed
