Sun King, I've been thinking the same thing Moe was (insects hitchhiking there way indoors) until you mentioned "high rise". There could be however a slight chance of stress when the the light spectrum changes between indoor/outdoor....causing "hemies". Plants sense light changes and their genetics react to "save the species". I was looking at my plants 6 weeks into flower the other day thinking "you need to turn these girls around and swap their positions" (that sounds like pRon I know)...but I knew they had grown accustomed to the angle of light they receive on a normal basis. I left them be as my tops are so lengthy that the thought of seeds forming made me paranoid. I've had hemies before...never saw the male flowers amongst all the foliage, only the dozen or so seeds that hid within each beautiful bud, later found when rolling it up. It could be caused by numerous things, keeping things consistent in flower seems to be the trick with Mary Jane from other growers experiences.
BTW..."C" is still my favorite in your stable.

thanks jela, that's good feedback, I never considered flipping back and forth from sunlight to HPS would be an issue....I may need to reconsider my approach.

I think I'll do some rearrangements in the room and keep her full time with the HPS.

BTW: I'm beginning to see your point about "C"...she may be short but has bigger buds already

If you dont have to navigate steps/etc, you could go with the $11.99 movers dolly from harbor freight with a board on top of it.. and it packs 3" hard rubber swivel casters too - would definitely save on the back if that's the issue re: problematic

it's not the weight as much as the bulky size.... maneuvering it in/out of the bathroom tub/shower stall is the hassle (I already damaged a leaf)

Understood, just figured I'd mention it incase it was the weight or you had a condition that made it difficult =)

Good morning my friends, I have been working on the grow and decided to continue, since I had several seeds unexpectedly pop , I reused the dirt, so 8 more in 2 l bottles, they seem to work out for me well...I'm thinking of moving my plants into another building as it's getting smelly in here...what do I have to worry about using an enclosed room outside? I'm worried about the heat issues, does it matter as i gets over 90 here everyday in the summer? I would like to keep my autos and fems in the house and put the bag seed in the other building, or even outside...

The strain is Sleestack X Skunk (Regular). They were free seeds that came with my Arjan's Haze 3 order. I'm saving those Arjan seeds until I had my process worked out. First time grower, new grow box, etc.

90F is on the warm side but with I think if you get decent air circulation in the outdoor shed it should be okay...IMO

This morning I removed all the plants and cleaned the room then rearranged them so make it all more manageable

.....it's a good fit other than the dirt dweller is now sitting in the cheap $5 seat...oh well, she will have to live with what she gets

Oh and another thing, I started an LED grow box, put two small plants in it a few days ago, very nice light, just blues for now...12 volts so maybe I can run them off a battery/solar system...more to come in the future on this project.

Can you point out what trait you speak of. It looks like a pretty healthy plant to my eyes.

Ah yes the tripod, your's looks to be random because it doesn't repeat in the next node above. I'd say the strain has a recessive gene but the odds of using this plant to increase the likelihood of bringing this gene forward are slim to none.

Grow before last I crossed a female that was a quad on one arm with a male that was a true tripod from top to bottom, I haven't popped any seeds yet because the smoke wasn't stellar. I might pop some outside this summer just to see how they grow.

PS: (edit) From what I've read and the little I've experienced, breeding with mutants can lead to new unexpected extra special traits.

Were you using anything along the lines of colchicine, or having soil medium temp over 80F-ish, even accidentally?

Today was the 2nd day in a row where it actually felt like spring. Took the opportunity to expand rinse and cal/mag treat 3/4 of a block each of coco coir & chunk. Blended the 2 and will let it dry through tomorrow, expecting another nice day. Going to add 1/2 of whats there worth of perlite and I should have enough for this summer's grows.

Yup, and if triploid or other, breeding issues will exist due to mis-paired chromosomes.. is why I was curious about what I'd mentioned, and then figured higher medium temperature may have caused it

Didn't do anything lol. Just popped a bunch of beans and have been waiting for them to sex and mature before taking any clippings for testing. This is the only one that did this out of 6 beans (Swiss cheese strain). My temps are pretty stable and hover between 72-78f. I noticed some twisting in the leaves so my last watering must have had the ph off slightly. Wonder if that could have caused it. I did read that the majority of the time when it happens the plant is usually a male. First time running into one, so had to ask Thanks for your responses. Peace!!
