Personally I wouldn't want to go on holiday whilst I had plants in bloom. As it gets closer to harvest time my grow-room becomes an increasingly desirable place to be in or close-by.

ATM .. after a dip in enthusiasm 2 weeks ago my passion has been re-ignited. Nothing like having great quality bud forming to keep a growers interest peaked. The feedback I have been getting on this GDP is friggin blowing my mind guys... Hh Hh Hh HOT CAKES!!

Ive have a few strains on trial now but they'll have to be close to the perfect Canna plant to unseat what may even become my favorite ever strain to grow.
I'm almost hoping my 4 other trial strains are bum, so that I can focus my effort on the GDP.

THIS HOBBY ROCKS ! YEAH! LOL

I have 1 tub of mixed of Lemonator AND Lemon Kush (more in the cloner)

I have 2 moms of Mazar Kush and Pineapple Skunk. I'm about to take clones off them now.

I can't smell much from the Lemon Kush trial whilst Lemonator smells and looks great. Will post a full update of what I have going @ lights on.

Nice but is your pineapple skunk by humboldt and lemon kush by dna and Mazarin kush by world of seeds.

I have very hard water too. Its not a problem.

I don't pH at all. That also 'can' lead to lock-outs, if incorrectly dosed. If using pH down, try not using it. and a small amount of cal/mag* with a dash of (N) is NEEDED for those plants.


*for the Mg rather than the Ca. Ive not experienced phytotoxicity from an excess of Ca, nor have I seen an example in these forums. :peace: Good luck.

About magnesium in short

What is it and what does it do?Magnesium is indispensable to plants. Represents a building block for chlorophyllIs essential for photosynthesis.

What do you see?Rusty brown spots. Cloudy, vague yellow spots between the veins.

What can you do?Spray with a 2% solution of Epsom salts every 4-5 days during about a week.

I just took your advice to the bank and cashed it, i did some research on cal mag deficiency after you said what you said and from what i have seen of you tube it looks like you hit the nail on the head, I'm going to go ahead and order some cal mag and add a good bit to my nutrient regiment, i figured if anything i would have an excess of both but from the symptoms i have been experiencing it looks a lot like the issues that i have been seeing are a result of a cal mag deficiency im glad you were able to pin point it before i tried to flower my big girls... Thanks so much man you are a life saver...

With that being said moe have you switched to canna line of nutes?

No. Still with GH Flora. ... can't see me changing base nutes for a while since Ive dialled them in. I do respect the 'Canna' company though.

I have been using 'Hesi' Coco too. ... It seems to work well but also needs Cal/mag.

This Sharkbreath strain is taking me for another wild hempy ride....just finished the PK13/14 adds and tapering down the base nutes for the next 3 weeks. Surprisingly one of the colas in competition with the 24 inch'er in back is a "runt" in 5qt plastic utility pail from Walmart....shoved it in front with the 2gal girls just to see if i would work (almost threw it away)....it's all rockwool down under with a coco top. The odor has changed from "none at all" to a light coffee/chocolate smell, turning to citrus when touched.

Absolutely incredible Jela. .. Ive not had a strain like that before. Really amazing cola's.

Damn that is a sick cola, that is a must clone if ever there was one, SoG growers every where are pissing there pants thinking of the possibility's right about now lol...
