Inventions

For a while now China has been trying to figure out what it is that makes America so "Inventive". They have us beat in numbers, discipline, tech, production and just about EVERY other field... But they do NOT have the "ability" to invent. And I think I discovered why... Firstly, the obvious one... China was on lockdown for 100 years, they didn't agree with industrialization and chose not to embrace it, and so they didn't trade with other countries in order to preserve their tradition, so now they are about 100 years behind in terms of inventing, but they are very good at taking a blue print and mass producing it, or adding something to it. Secondly, the other main reason we are more inventive than them. Invention is motivated by poverty (class differentiation) and laziness, and china simply does not allow their people to be lazy and EVERYONE is poor, so really no one is poor. And because they don't have laziness, or 'poverty' (a class to aspire to be, which inspires invention). And, just a side note. Now that I am getting paid for writing, I will be able to make my smoking invention :)
This thread has nothing to do with me, and it doesn't matter what China did invent, they are literally trying to figure out how we invent things.

The definition of writing does not include badly regurgitating Chinese history and then trying to make up some sort of crucial analysis.

Oh btw figgy. America didn't invent most of the things in it's industrial revolution. We borrowed from england and germany. Then we took their designs and used them to become a super power.

Really, until the 1900's we didn't invent much of anything.

I think YOUR delusions have reached a new level. Me posting the original post, does not make this thread about me  It is still about China, America and Invention :dunce:

 Please try reading again, most of that 'article' was abut Chinese present, not Chinese past. The part about Chinese past was simply there to explain an aspect of Chinese present.

I'm the kinda person that is always happy. Even in jail, I just laugh at everyone's jokes no matter how stupid they are. I don't see a reason to not be happy, unless something REALLY bad is happening, like getting arrested or mutilated.

That is a hilarious quote. And like only 10 years before airplanes and cars got invented
And then, even people who should know, don't.....
