My choice of leds for a top series of GD-SDS system ,right now ,if possible, would have been :

- 24 x LH CP7P 3T-4T (top deep red bin reel)
- 48x LCW CR7P.CC-KRKT-5U8X (top bin reel at 2700 K,high CRI )
- 12 x LCW CR7P.CC-KTLP-5L7N (top bin reel at 4000 K ,high CRI )
-24 x LCW CR7P.EC-KULQ-5R8T ( top bin reel at 3000K, mid CRI )

From September-most probably- ,complete GD-SDS Led system(s) ,will be available, for sale, at http://astirgrows.com/en/

But ,at low-production rate ,high price (not overpriced ,just high priced,it can't be otherwise,really ... ! )
and with lead-time ~4 to 6 weeks -at least-,from order to delivery ..

But ,first ,let us see ,how it performs ,until then ....

Thanks again for great answers.. i want to order some leds or modules that sites, BUT i dont wanna extra customs tax...

My modules(6x) each price 6,49€...:) Cheap as you can see then others..i know not same, but I have to make do with it..

and i thinking...

i ll go each modules (6x/12x) with seperate heatsinks..

like this..
ls120.jpg
for maximum control ( power, canopy, beam angle,)

i loved Astirgrows products really good price actually for eu buyers..better then mostly commercial products..

and check this site ISLED

This guy try to make good modules too...He has good experience with this shit (like as you )

BTW: i dont wanna (NEVER) any advertise, any company or product. Just reference.

IsLed is pretty much known ,around here ...
Very good EU web-shop ,for led DIYers ....

The heatsink seems enough for 6 Oslons ....
IDK for more ,like 12 ....
Maybe with a fan ,installed ...

i think i'll go with only 6X 12 WW (LCW CR7P.EC)2700-5000 + 2X6 RED (LR CP7P)

no more NW or CW for this run.

Like this.
LED.jpg

For every 30cm2 1X12 WW

What do you think about lens degree...80 or 120 ? how is better for my setup ?

You miss some deep reds there ..

You can make it ....
let's see .....
..Hmmm....

3x12 WW (LCW CR7P.EC)2700
3x12 WW (LCW CR7P.EC)3500
1x6 red LR CP7P ( 625-630 )
1x6 red LH CP7P (645-660 )

at 80° you'll need height ..But light is "guided " towards plants ....

At 150° you can stay "low " ...
.but then reflective material at side-walls , is needed for sure ....

i know. i didnt..but no have fcking deep red here :) This company make led spots only for HUMANS not for plants..hahahaha

3x12 WW (LCW CR7P.EC)2700
3x12 WW (LCW CR7P.EC)3500
1x6 red LR CP7P ( 625-630 )
1x6 red LH CP7P (645-660 )
i know..this combination PERFECT

Give me example. how many inch heigth ? for 80* and 150°

i'll go SOG style with hempy pots...i think no need much deep penetrating..

Can't do that estimate that easy ....
It depends on total power amount (of light ) ...
The more power ,the more distance from plants ...For ~12 oslons at 80 ° ,I'd say ~ 35-40 cm ..
At 150° ,maybe you can go as close as 15-20 cm ....

'll go SOG style with hempy pots...i think no need much deep penetrating..

Then ,maybe it's best to choose the 150° option ...

In the mood ,for some " Pro look"-pics ...

P5146559.JPG..P5146557.JPG..P5146555.JPG..P5146558.JPG.....

23rd day of vegging ..
(But only 9 days under the 3 GD-SDS boxes.. )

-Leaves are as thick ,as those of outdoor grown plants ...
-Compact Stature ,even with minimal amounts of blue wls ...
-Growth rate is amazingly high .
-Leaf curling still evident ,even in new growth (leaves ) .Photo-Saturation ?
-Cycle is still 20/4 .
-Mosaic virus is here ! Again ! Still I smoke tobacco ...

Wow ....
My " prototype's run "-regarding IMS arrays / mcpcbs ,has cost me ~ $ 20.....

Well ..I 'd say that $875 ,it's kinda much for the silk-screen printing ....
Cause the rest ,is/can be almost identical,at almost any possible design .....

A bit more than $1000 is the cost for purchasing all the parts/materials (tools-wires-paints-thermal epoxy , not included ) ,
of a complete GD-SDS system .....

-First things first ....

Yes, is absolutely normal for the plants to show slow growth at that stage ,with all that red power ...

-Main Root probably,is already at the bottom of the pot ,'searching' where to go next..
-Stomata are closed ,after 3-4 hours of exposure , under that light ..
Photosynthesis slows down ,really much ...

( NIR photography can easily reveal that thing !
Trust me ..Been already there ,...
NDVI / NRG pics can tell a lot ,to the trained eye !
View attachment 2654980
...After ~12 hours under leds ..."
"Green Window" strategy , is also evident !
Top layer -canopy is light -saturated ....PS rates have dropped ...
But remain high ,in the deeper part of canopy..)

Young plants to be exposed on such red-heavy spectrum ...
Can't handle the power yet ......
-PS II is constantly being destroyed and re-builded ...Bad circle ..

Now ....At vegging ......
Green and Yellow light power mainly ,followed by red/deep red/far red with a touch of Blue ....
" SDS's recipe ".....
Tested and Approved...

Moved my young seedlings under 1XWW+1XCW 55w PL-L lamps last 2 days...

They looks better and healthy...(16 Days from seed)

P1.jpgP2.jpg

i will NEVER/EVER use any Red (Oslon LR CP7P) for young seedlings again...

Thanks for knowledge and experience

BTW my number 1 baby(at the left) looks like MALE...

Same age from seed (only 1 day germination difference)

But...

Greedy growt...
Different leaf shape and leaf corners..
We will see..

Maybe I should combine two of the things I love most .... Music .. & leds .... Start building stage lights ... Just kiddin ' .... Seriously .... I'm thinking for the first led grow system ,with mp3 player on -board .... Light & music ... for the plants .... ;-P ...light & music .... [
Yeah brother :) When we are ready for this.. i have lots of info on the music/sound side.. It will be a nice and fun experiment! (&&&ε ρε κ να χαμε κανα κανονικό ρισέρτς σέντερ τι θα γινόταν&&&)

stardust... is there any way to have a panel that you can select the lens degrees? so if you going for scrog set it to wider and vice versa? Or keep it narrow in the first weeks and 'opening' up while plant grows.. is this a variable that we can control via pc or some other controller?

Just as you guys are pushing the led lighting envelope, I am pushing the growing side as well. Hope you come by to see my 21st Century Drip/Spray and Drain set up. It blows my mind that it has been available fro 2 years, and not a single grow thread- until now

You can forget about it ..For the next 10-20 years at least ....
