any ideas on how to take some smoke with me to egypt?

the only real way is to keister it.. however many folks get caught when they are xrayed so what you need to do is shove the pot inside of a hooka then keister that, once xrayed they will only see the hooka which you can just say your kinda kinky like that and enjoy a good tobacco, your free to go..

Taking weed from London to Egypt sounds like a very stupid idea. "Locked up abroad"-stupid.

Buying hash in Egypt is still a stupid idea. But, if one were to do such a stupid thing, one should not ask Egyptians, but instead, for example Europeans, who've been in Egypt for a bit longer, working in resorts and clubs for tourists etc.

I've been to Sharm el Sheikh and I didn't take it with me on that holiday. I got some rubbish weed there but I was diving daily anyway. If you have time go to Dahab to pick up.

Egypt (well, Cairo) has many hookas. Even the keister ones are remarkably affordable. cn

I would say dont bring any with you.

I been to Egypt twice.

The police look like pissed of millitary folks with AK's, not the smokable kind.
Landing there the first time I noticed a tank playing security.
They have death penalties.

And you want to take a bit of weed with you through customs ?
Not the brightest idea.
Its not so much the trouble of hiding some, but getting caught and what can happen afterwards.
1 F-up and a big mouth could land you months if not years of jail time, you wouldnt be the first.

Buy some crap local.
Go to one of the smaller markets and buy a hookah/bong from a local that speaks english well.
Tell him you will give him 10$ bucks if he can get you some weed.
Or if you get to go out on town, just go to a good bar and spot someone who's eagered to earn a few bucks on you.

I smoked some crappy weed and hash when I was there the second time.
