No prescriptions for me:-) I keep ibuprofen for headaches that aren't goin away wen I smoke and the occasional toothache but other then that I'm drug free (in the perspective that weed is not a drug).

Also we have this amazing thing called science and modern medicine. Some people are sheep, and many people abuse drugs. There are also many, many people legitimately using prescriptions. I currently take 2 prescriptions. It's not because i'm a pill popper. It's not because the dr tricked me into it. It's not because big pharma tricked me into it. It's because I have legitimate medical issues, and these prescriptions significantly improve the quality of my life.

You act as if every pill out there is a placebo laced with rat poison. What about all the pills that act as intended with little to no side effects? I can't imagine my life without modern medicine and my prescriptions.

What would be your legitimate medical issue(s), mines epilepsy of the special kind (meaning doctors don't know what exactly it is) --if you don't mind me asking~

My mom is having the same problems with her gastrointestinal tract,..I'am grateful for the advances in medical sciences (medicine-etc), but don't you think there is an absurd amount of individuals on prescriptions pills? Your right-- most of those individuals do have valid medical reasons to be taking them, but I'm starting to doubt if the rest really need to be on them.. Like the high amount of people being diagnosed with ADD-ADHD-Depression within the last decade, would it be possible if some doctors are "persuaded" by pharmacy reps to diagnose simple cases (people who don't really need to be on prescription meds) just to push their products?

But I stand with you on the need for proper medicine, maybe the culprits are just those with vested interest to increase sales margins~

There is no doubt that the system is being abused and that all kinds of horse shit goes on, like prescribing pills for ADHD for 50% of the population. I don't think we should automatically condemn anyone that uses a "prescription" as if modern medicine is inherently bad.

Life isn't simply about procreating and passing your genes on anymore. What once was a death sentence is no longer true because of modern medicine. It's not survival of the fittest, it's survival of everyone regardless of what medical conditions you have.
 
I like the does all drug that'll fix yer depressions, make your sore joints quit hurting buttttttttt.
Don't take this if you have prostate problems or prostate cancer,MAY cause prostate cancer in some cases.
Do not take if your using anti depressants as this May cause you to commit suicide.
If you need to react normally and not walk in your sleep do not operate heavy equipment
or fly helicopters while using this drug.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS AFFORDING THIS DRUG LET US KNOW AND WE'LL FLOAT YA A LOAN!!
 
I have worked in a pharmacy and my family owns them. I absoloutly hate prescription drugs!!! I cannot wait until they change the laws in my state to allow bud clubs because I am going to open one or at least supply it .


Still maintaining the family heritage, just with a safer and more acceptable product that everyone loves!
 
If only I could simply drop off samples of kush and C99 at doctors offices/med centers...like the sales reps do for Pfizer etc.

Man, I'd have this state on it's way to much better health.:peace:
 
Incognito, why you mad, bro? Of course there are legitimate reasons to take meds, however, I do not know how you could argue that there aren't waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many people taking meds that do not need them. Don't take it so personally. There are good cholesteral and heart drugs, antibiotics for Pete's sakes, but pills just because you woke up are ridiculous.

I went to the doctor a few years ago for anxiety because my job had me doing the work of 4 people and deadlines could NOT be missed, PERIOD. He insisted that I take Zoloft (because he got kickbacks). I told him I was homicidal, not suicidal. He didn't care. Didn't care about what I needed, just what he could prescribe me for his own gain. Some doctors should just go ahead and wear patches for all of their "sponsors".
