I dont want to hi-jack your thread so let me know if you want me to put this elsewhere, but considering mainlining on my next grow, I have very limited space but I do have a little cabinet(2'x1'x3') I can use for some early vegging (would be a single plant for the mainline, with 2 or 3 x 23w CFLs just to get going).

How long do you think I should wait before my main grow has to harvest before I put seed to soil since I will be doing heavy training on it?

I dont want to outgrow the lighting, or is that not really a concern since I could just trim it back whilst I wait?

Your question got me thinking way back when I first moved to Texas as a kid about ten years old. I stayed with my Aunt and Uncle while my folks were getting things ready for the big move. Over those several months we had skunks living under the house. Well that's what they told me. Wonder if they were just big stoners?

Pretty sure it was really skunks. The odor was stronger than any weed I've grown or smoked by 1000 times. Nasty. Bad memories now that I think about it. But my Aunt did take me to see Empire Strikes Back at the theater, so all is forgiven!

Well, I have a long ass time, since I just flipped to 12/12 last Friday. Since I have always grown from clones, I am just trying to get a feel for how long I have once I start from seed before I will outgrow my little space.

It would also be nice to shorten the amount of time between harvest if I can get the new one close to flip.

Thanks LGC, about how tall from soil to top? That seems manageable. If things got really out of control, or my Strawberry takes much longer than expected I suppose I could do some extreme topping and training

Not soil mate, but anyway it was about 12 inches there. Mainlined you can keep it real low.(for a while anyway)

Thanks, I think with some heavy bondage and topping I should be able to start the seeds when I have 4-5 weeks and be safe then. That shouldn't outgrow the 90w LED and a couple CFLs, and if it does, I will just keep topping until I can switch her over.

Plus your doing hempy, which probably grows a bit faster right?

Thanks I think that is what I will do. Going to plan on popping the seed in mid august which will be after 4 full weeks of flowering. Give me a week to germinate and sprout and about 4 weeks for training then I can move it under the MH.
