Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara blamed the incident on "fallout" from the Martin case, as well as heightened emotions over the impending divorce. "No one is filing charges against anybody," he said, adding that he had heard the 911 call. "Emotions are running very high," he added.
O'Mara confirmed Zimmerman had his gun on him. "He was armed ... He put his hand (on the gun) to make sure it was holstered," he said. "He knows how to carry responsibly."
Police initially took away Zimmerman's gun, but O'Mara said it was later returned to his client.
"He's in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and keeps saying step closer ... and he's gonna shoot us," a breathless and clearly scared Shellie Zimmerman told the police emergency operator, according to the 911 call released by police.

haha I hope they do press charges since no gun was involved I would like to see what the cost of sending the iPad to a recovery specialist and state charging another high profile case for domestic abuse. Sounds like a bunch of continued fail to me, I bet they don't do shit.

for the government on a high profile case? No fucking way, double or triple it data recovery doesn't have a set price it's a case by case basis. By the time it's all over you will have the state spending 20-30k on a domestic abuse case, fucking retarded. Someone from their local budget office is going to stand up and say "can we afford this over a DA case?".
He has been released without charges they already know about smashing the ipad and alleged assult on her dad so unless the video shows a gun which I doubt it will because she didn't even see one, nothing is going to happen.
it's not up to her or her father to press charges..

"He accosted my father and then took my IPad and then smashed it and cut it with a pocketknife. I don't know what he is capable of. I am really really scared," Shellie told dispatchers.
According to authorities, Shellie's father did not have any visible injuries.
In the 911 call, Shellie asked the dispatcher to send paramedics because her father's nose looked like it was broken.
There are also other inconsistencies police pointed to on the 911.
Shellie told dispatchers that officers arrived and had their guns drawn. She said George was sitting in his car. Fearing George would start shooting, she told the dispatcher her and her father were going inside.
According to police, George was not in his car when they arrived but was standing in the yard. They say he was also very cooperative and allowed police to search his person.
