What to tell my dealer?

Ok so the guy up the street has been selling me bud for years now. 1/4 oz every week like frikkin clockwork. So now that I got my own supply for quite awhile, hopefully in perpetuity, what do I tell this dude when he realizes I'm not buying shit anymore? Can't tell him I'm growing my own...can't say I got another "regular guy" cuz he knows that's not true. I know dude only sells so he can get his own bud for nothing. This is an unexpected circumstance I did not consider before harvesting. Dude is a friend so I want to be nice but also firm. He knows me well enough to tell when I am lying and wouldny believe me if I said I quit smoking herb.....does anyone else have this issue & what did you do about it?

Tell him your Dad grows and Supplies you for free... Trade him Bud every now and again and smoke with him.

Sounds like he's got a good little thing going, selling a few ounces a month. The student has become the master.

Maybe you and he could smoke a big fatty, skip down the street while holding hands and listening to "So happy together" , and "hash" it out (pun intended), I don't know just a thought...

Not much of a friend if you're worried he'll rip you for growing your own and you owe him nothing as a dealer imo but as a friend it would be nice to be up front and tell him what you've told us.
I just had this conversation with my "bud" and in the exact same situation as you, lives a couple of doors away and I've known him for years, he knows I'm growing and he was bummed when I told him. What's his response to me "It's sucks, you not needing me for a bit but it's going to be cool to smoke everyone's crop, so many people growing it's going to be great, sampling all the different types."

Besides I wasn't the only one he's supplying so my little amount basically covered his cigarette money lol.

its an open market. ive had guys do that to me, and ive done it to guys I buy from.. as well as they do it to guys they buy from, etc...

its not a huge deal, his feelings arent going to get hurt. chances are, youre just 1 / 50 of his customers, and if youre only buying a quarter, he prob wont notice your profits missing too bad. and if he gets all pissy that you wont buy weed from him anymore, hes no friend, hes a piece of shit who is only interested in your 15$ profit for the week.

Cannabis is a MEDICINE period! If you use it recreationally excellent! You have made the final step to self preservation, and self supply! I congratulate you! I have no love for anyone trying to make a profit off of cannabis. That's the problem in our society, they wanna put a price tag on everything in the name of greed when in reality its about being there for folks in need, not making money off there recreational medicine. Ganja slingers everywhere better pay attention cause the more folks get educated on what they can produce themselves these money men will be hard pressed to find there reg customers imo. I detest having to pay for cannabis.

I wonder if there are farmers out there that give all of the food and other materials they produce away for free and at the same time "have no love" for all the other farmers that do charge for the food and other materials they produce, or is that mentality (I've seen it before from other posters) exclusive to the cannabis industry.

And that's not just for farming, can apply that to any other industry...

Are there any computer technicians out there who do all their work for free and at the same time "have no love" for the 99.999999999% of other computer technicians that do charge for their work.



Why waste time hating people that feel their own time and energy is worth something (and it is)?

Very strange.
