Ok, so how much light would it take to cover these 40 plants; placing the light like a foot away from the plants. A 4x5 space hold 20 plants, so 4-1000 watt could cover these completely(5 plants a light). And buy another 4-1000 watt hid for the remaining 20 plants. Would this give me my desired yield?you don't base yields off of plant #'s. you base yields off of canopy size and light coverage. HID lighting loses lumens as you move away from the bulb. the light at 1 foot is much brighter than the light at 5 feet.

If not im headed to a forrest that noone ever visits. I might even camp out and live there since I once had to live in a forrest while in the army.
Growing a plant is not algebra. This is a operation that must and will be completed. I don't really beleive in the word cant and I'm not one to give up easily, actually I never give up or quit anything. So I pass on the whole just be a consumer crap, this is alot deeper than you think. My pride is on the line.maybe you should stick to being a consumer!
this is a 1.5 pound plant. you will NEVER fit 20 of these in a 4 X 5 space. View attachment 135723
1000 watts = 1 pound
This is what I call a "coup de grace"this is a 1.5 pound plant. you will NEVER fit 20 of these in a 4 X 5 space. View attachment 135723

We'll 1 pound is good enough for most people on here but I'm apart of a different breed. I don't settle for for less so I'll be growing 40 plants outside in the deep woods. I'm a scout so this should be easy.I love it when you pull out these shots, he he!
get out there. you ain't gonna do it sitting in that chair. We'll 1 pound is good enough for most people on here but I'm apart of a different breed. I don't settle for for less so I'll be growing 40 plants outside in the deep woods. I'm a scout so this should be easy.
try that link again. i wanna see.to get 1.5 pounds per plant from 40plants you'll need more light, a lot of co2, ventilation, air conditioning etc and you have to be a pretty damned good grower, so unless youve been growing for years which you obviously havent or you wouldnt be asking this question, youll be lucky to get half that... here is an example of a 1pound indoor plant: WWW.GREENHOUSESEEDS.NL - Green House Seed Co. Amsterdam Since 1985 look at how wide it has to be, you would have to have a huge amount of space and light to have 40 of these
well said!Is this your first grow?
Man these people are trying really hard to help you and you are doing everything short of spitting in their faces, yet they continue to make an effort to edjucate you. Put your pride to the side listen and calm down about your yeilds as of this moment. It sounds like you should be worried about your space and amount of light.
