When I first started growing I was trying to soak up as much info as I could, all I read was bag seed is inferior yadda yadda. So I chopped an amazing looking Indica(I believe it was some type of kush) plant I was doing experiments on to hone my skills. Regret it every time I see a bag seed grow. Live and Learn, I won't encounter bag seed anymore :\ I guess that's one shitty point of growing your own foliage.
Don't knock it till you try it. lolI believe it to be hokum. That is 100% my opinion. I was thinking about attempting this then sat and thought about it, how is a plant going to get magically more potent because the lights turn out, in such a short period of time (1-3 days is the average spread around)? It thinks it's going to die and gets better? huh? Pretty sure the plant knows it's dieing when it's finished flowering. The response then is to throw male parts everywhere, this seems like the opposite of a good thing
My best guess is these guys are seeing perhaps a quicker maturation of the trichomes? I doubt there is more of them and I doubt the smoke is actually any stronger. Could be wrong, I am completely unedumacated when it comes to this sort of thing. Maybe there is scientific reasons it gets better. No has presented them as far as I know, it's all hearsay. I have a hard time finding before and after, I keep hearing more trichomes well if it's so easily discernible then before after pictures please and thanks.
I used to watch videos of a medical guy who swore by this, but never ever provided any sort of information on why he thinks it works. "It just does" when stuff like that is said I ask more questions
my plants get a dark period every 12 hours, they are going to be potent as fuck.
I have a Jack The Ripper going now myself. Infact, I have 3 of them going. 3 seedlings came from the 1 seed I had started.. 
Cool, Thanks Dankster420, I currently have two of them. I just renewed my Med Card, and I'm adding another which max me out at 45 plants. I getting away from running so many strains at once, I want to cut it down to maybe 2 or 3 strains.Looks really good bud..
Well, I hear that.. But with me, I'm running a wide selection, almost 50 now, where I took some, and a few didn't start for me. That and my outdoors is getting ready to come down, so that will drop my #'s a lot 2..
And i'm just getting into it. LOL... got 10 going in the tent. started with 13. going to run more than 20 next time around.
... Gotta get crazy to get any work done around here. lol

and since I dry em indoors with normal ambi temperatures (70-75F) I like to keep some sugar leaves on em or they just dry to fast (3 days) have better success with leaving some leaves on for the trimming before I jar em, that way it take +5 days to dry em for the jar`s and the strain do have a pretty high Bud to leave ration to start with so it did only take me a hour or so
