Years later now that it's failing, the city council and a special think tank (Sharpton, Jackson and the gang) came out with the findings that all of Detroit's troubles are because white people left and took all the good jobs with them.

You really have to search to find examples though, they are no where near as prevelant. If anyone is claiming whites experienced anything close to what blacks in this country experienced, they have an odd perspective on things. Minorities are responsible for what they do now. There just has to be some understanding as to 'why' it's happening. It goes back generations, something you obviously can't see. What needs to happen is the behavioral patterns of minority parents needs to change, and an emphasis needs to be put on education. Since minorities, for the most part, can't afford higher education the concept isn't a reality for them. Setting up programs to help them achieve an education will only help more black people get an education. It creates a cycle of valuing education.

It's what white people have been doing for thousands of years.
