The light from LEDs is very intense and the plants do not react the same to it as they do to Sun or HPS. It was hard for me to get it right the first time. I also read that some people were getting better results with the LEDs up higher and also supplementing the nutes with more CalMag.

Hey Mohican,

Just busting your balls pardon the reference of applying a bat to balls. I should replied with your quote with "that's what she said" LOL

Anywise very impressive, how tall is she how old again?

Hi Mohican..

How old at that time, what about 36 inches? 12 weeks?

  • Looks like it was Aug 17th when she went in the ground

I kept pruning them back and vegging in small pots. They were in the veg cab a long time this year.

Here she is when she was a few days old on June 3rd:

Oh okay, wow she really took off, if you had sprouted her say back earlier as spring began you'd have to get a ladder to look at her tops :bigjoint:

I got some clones out in May that were 6-8 weeks that got that big, but our sun isn't the same out here, we have to sprout them early give em about 2 months growth to put them out early Mid May. Still too many overcast days during our outdoor season, but it is still nice to try. bongsmilie

I am finding with LEDs it depends on the strain, my BC is fine without extra cal/mg however the AK74 x G13 is sucking up the calmag and I have to weekly add.

Well back from my trip, feeling a bit better. More Dr. appt's this week.

Well after four days in the cabinet the ladies are looking ok. When I got back I looked at the temps in the cab. and they were high, 88 degrees F. I was shocked as I had not had those temps even before I put the ladies in the cabinet. The plants were wilted, well at least the mainline plants were wilted and the pots were dry. Notice the salts on the outsides of the bags, I am assuming they are salts. I have been using rain water with a ppm of under 10 or RO water with low ppm. Only thing I can figure is the FFOFS is high in salts. Well I will flush again with clean water twice before the next watering and add CT along with my nutes program.

All of the plants, two Q's plus the four clones from these plants.

After examination of the cabinet I found that on the interior wall that separates the grow portion of the cab from the section that the fan dumps into prior to exiting the cab had a hole that had been covered with duct tape came open. The hole was originally put in the box to run the power cords into the other area of the box. So what was happening was the exhaust air was being pulled back into the grow portion of the cabinet. Taped over the hole again with much more tape so all is good. Outside air now is 75 degrees and inside the cab is 80 degrees.

The timer is set and as of 7 PM this evening I will be in 12/12 mode.

Peace out,

GR

I posted these on the Stealth / Micro / Cab Growing forum. Thought I would post it here also.

My completed cabinet, well I know I will be doing more but at least my girls are in there now.

I wish I knew something about construction, this would have been much easier. Oh well, it was a good learning experience.

Peace out,
