The precautions you have mentioned have all been covered (electricity, odor, containment, etc), also I plan to be that guy who sells to the people who buy wholesale and sell retail. The more people you sell to, the more people you have to trust. Rather sell it off to close friends in ounces who are heavy smokes, whether they decide to sell it or smoke it it's up to them.

As in two full time jobs if you are not in college, a full and part time job if you are in school.
Seriously.
You'll be amazed how quickly you can save money living rent free and not having enough free time to get into trouble or spend money.

In my twenties I held a full time construction job and a full time cooking job. I averaged 82 hours a week. I paid off a ten grand credit card and paid a cash down payment on a pickup in ten months. I literally held checks from the restaurant months at a time until I cashed a few together.
Listen to these posts. If easy money was so easy, everyone would be doing it.

Everyone here that isn't legal weighs the risk with the reward. I suggest you take a hard look at both.

Lol maybe I should have left out the part of growing in my parent's house for a year. I'm pretty sure I've covered every base of precaution possible. Maybe I would have gotten more serious answers if I just said if it was possible moving out harvesting on average 8 plants every 4 weeks for a year.
If I can manage it, keep it contained and smell free, not run my mouth to anyone, sell to close friends, how will I get caught? Once again the question isn't will I be caught or should I do this. It was can I achieve a house from growing.

I wouldn't need the entire 90k within a year. I know buying a house is out of question, unless I expanded way past just a small room in the basement.

No offense, but this thread is kinda pointless if you already have this planned out and are going to do it no matter what information we give you. Chris Duke has a good point, you need to start off with the first step: finding employment. Live with your parents for a few years and use your money to save up for a rent/house deposit. Then grow once you move out.
Oh and your friends will be the first to rat on you, just to let you know. People talk all sorts of gangsta shit until they have a detective talking to them.
So fix up the basement couple thousand spend 10 thousand on all grow equipment lights tents fans etc etc. Atleast 300 a month for electricity and then think slap the fuck out of yourself and dont by nothing. theres a down payment for a house and nothin illegal has been done and remeber when u buy a home you have to show were that 10 grand down payment came from and you cant put it in bank either. Grow up dude get a career then grow and keep your parents home alone its theres not yours. They will loose everything for dumbass behavior

You are harvesting 8 plants around every month? If each plant gave you 2.5 ounces you would get 20 ounces a harvest.
360/20 ounces is 18 harvests. So a year and 6 months to 2 years (if you sold the weed right away).

Fuck u just made my boring lunch break fun... dipshits like u dont grow in ur parents, your not going to be cropping out every 4 weeks being a beginner with a perpetual, plus you got to put in dry time, cure and then selling it...300$ a zip sure but u aint gonna get that ur a newb and why would people pay u 300 for ir shit when they can pay 300$ to the guy whos been doin it for years. Plus you got to incorporate your cost of growing that many lights os gonna be prob 200$ a month on electricity plus nutes and other random shit. Maybe u should learn as much as u can growing first and do it in your own location plus ur not probably even of age which makes this thread even better...so if u wanna start that perpetual u better have a grand or two for start up

You plan to grow it in your parent's home. You will get drunk and tell someone about your grow and they will tell someone else. the next thing you know your house will be raided or robbed.
You can choose to put your own life at risk but not your parents. If you have such a cool relationship with them, tell them your intentions and see how it goes. I'm not one to judge a kid trying to grow a plant in their bedroom closet. But growing to sell is by definition a commercial grow. And the states in the south don't take too kindly to it.

Well said. For a beginner to be able to grow $300/oz kind of quality, people have been working years for. I mean I come from a place where it's 150 maybe 200/oz for well manacured green crack and other nice strains. So if 300/oz is your goal, you'd better have a really good product. I know I would be paying 300/oz these days if I didn't have to. Good luck on you endevours. And hope you don't ruin your family's lives forever.i wouldn't want that on my shoulders.

First off, I already gave a "worst scenario" where I would get shit yields and have to wholesale it. Everybody knows you have to practice to master something. I don't expect high grade shit the first couple of grows as that is when you have the most trial and error. $200 a month for electricity? I already ran some figures, not even going to be close to $100 even on a worst case scenario. I did not contradict myself btw, when I said not run my mouth I meant I would be selling to close friends but never mentioning I am the supplier. Keep them thinking I am the middle man. I never asked "will I be caught", read the title once more and you will see what I am asking. Random tip from a friend neighbor or someone watching these forums? How often does that really happen.... If you can contain the grow, eliminate odor, and not make anything suspicious there is no really for someone to suspect anything.
