Least smelly strain recommendations?

you don't even need to drill holes, you can simply run the fan attached to the carbon filter. Solves the problem of smell and stale air

Where it going to go then?
Just going to have a carbon fan going around unless he ducts it out.

Whole idea of ducting is to have fresh air around the plants and used-hot-smelly air pumped OUT

I have a small Holmes air purifier that I added charcoal to the filter. This will keep the odor down in a 10x10' room. Ona gel works good too. $40 for the purifier and 5 for the gel.

I have found the plant will stink the most during mid flower. Last 2 weeks of flower it smells less and during veg is not too bad. Avoid touching or shaking the plants as that will release odor.

We are getting a little off topic but I'm not gonna complain about free advice haha

I thought about using an ozone generator but I feel like there are more risks attached than advantages. I feel like no one is using those anymore. I mean, the problem is that I can't possibly have ideal conditions without using a carbon filter, but I need to get as close as possible through some other means

well yea I agree he should vent but if that is not an option, the second best thing is at least circulating the air around and at the same time scrubbing it

I just harvested a couple Mataro Blue's and it by far is the least stinky weed I've grown. I don't have any filter system and up to the day of harvest could not smell it. There's more info linked in my signature about this strain.

I've found Sativa to have much more smell than Indica....at least the strains I've grown.

I'm surprised lemon skunk is low odor considering the skunk part of it. But what do i know haha
it's not really a skunk, but a lemon haze x skunk, or something to that effect. it's nothing like skunk #1!

i personally wouldn't call c99 a low odor strain.. she's not a road kill skunk, but far from low odor ime..
you probably have moscas more indic a leaning and trippy phonos. CLASSIC cinderella IS both low odor (generally floral) and has an energetic, but clearheaded high. joey weed's version was very close to that textbook description, but had a fruitier thai dominant flavor, especially under the full spectrum halide i grew mine under where it had hints of grape. mosca's version was selected for the rare "potent pineapple" pheno.

as to odor control, when i grew 5 C99s, a bitch of a highland thai that didn't even start flowering until after my 1st harvest, a haze skunk that started to flower late and a short LSD that had a "catpiss haze" pheno (the smelliest in the grow followed by haze skunk) and got by with a simple window fan with a sheet of charcoal impregnated furnace filter stretched over the back of the fan using it's plastic mesh frame and a couple pieces "quarter moon" cardboard on the top & bottom to make it "air tight" on the intake with a funnel i made blowing in through my light, and had little odor issues, but a real carbon scrubber is better. if you use low odor strains, you already win most of the battle.

not that you can find it anymore but Joey Weeds NLxC99 had zero smell while growing and not much smell in the buds but they were full of taste and decently potent. Since the kushs, sours, chems have come along everything from those lines stinks for me...

like i said, joey weed was closer to original cindy than mosca's potent pineapple version. i hope i still have some of my cindy BXes and cindy apollo crosses. i'm glad i grabbed a bag of cindy apollo just before joey weed's gear went extinct, but really wanted trapper pure apollo. it's really sad you can't find apollo 11 anywhere. it should be the most popular strain in the world being trippy like jack, but finishing in 55 days or less. it's supposed to be reasonably low odor too being 1/2 cindy

aka "potent pineapple" which is RARE much like the "cinnamon girl" jack herer pheno or the "blackberry" AK-47 pheno. it's a recessive pheno that's been selected for and not the "original C99". i always call it potent pineapple myself.

NL5 has always been the go to strain for low odor, cash cropping, and easy growth for beginners. that's why it's in something like 70% of the strains out there according to a stat i read last year. why people would rather grow skunky than stealth always eluded me, but i just don't get indicas other than satisfying greed in general.

original C99 is low odor and floral BUT the potent pineapple pheno that many have selected for ISN'T. it isn't clear headed like cindy and can get stony too unlike "textbook C99". such is the nature of phenos. with mosca's cindy, you could get a full range of phenos from potent pinbeapple and skunky to classic floral. it's just like no two kids from the same parents being exactly alike, and when you start back crossing strains, you'll tend to get wider pheno expression than 50:50 original crosses unless the strain is stabilized.

I'm a little worried that people might think their plants were low odor but they simply had a great odor reducing method they were utilizing. Am I wrong to think that, or is it a possibility?

Are you looking to grow without charcoal filter ? If so I think hazey grapes may be right with the NL#5.
I run filters "big ones" so what I think is low odor may still be funky to you, I don't vent my air outside in the winter but even still I don't have a big problem with odor.
