RollItUp Magazine - seeking contributors

Sorry, but I do not consider medibles as munchies. They're two different animals.

Munchies to me, and most, are the open the packet crap we eat because we are stoned, not to get stoned. Munchies would be better suited to 5 to 10 minute easy recipes that kick the ass out of a bag of doritoes :-)

I certainly like the idea of a magazine though. Given the path of legalisation, it can only be a matter of time before someone else thinks that high times isn't up to scratch.

If your serious about this send me pm. Id be glad to help out. I might have some skills that could be useful.

I have been an RIU user for almost 7 years. I have been absent for some time now, but was called back to RIU in reference to this thread. It was referred to as an opportunity I might be up for or something I may be interested in. After reading the thread, this is where I am at.

The posts about printed works being dead- Its not true, dying and becoming socially obsolete certainly, though not dead. Writing is a passion of mine, and seeing the devaluation of words and information is a sad thing for me to witness.

I dont think an online magazine would be very successful or productive when you consider the other online sites similar to RIU that have them. I DO think that there could certainly be measured success in a printed magazine, though I would avoid tying it to RIU directly (while referrencing or crediting material or writers from the site with permission to use content that is used from the site).

I would be willing to participate in a printed magazine/leaflet/newsletter etc. and believe that it shouldnt be free. Indeed I have had the idea myself, rolling around in the back of my mind, for years. I had the idea very well developed in my mind, and no one to participate. I have been told by many to just let them know whenever the magazine etc. would be published and they would become paying subscribers. Without the content, there was nothing to print. Im still interested in developing the idea, and am curious if you may be interested in entangling our ideas and mutually participating to see where things could go. If you require explanation for my reasoning I would be more than happy to provide that to you.

Unfortunately, at this time I cannot reveal my old handle. I would hope it will suffice that I claim to have written thousands of posts that were praised for the quality of writing as well as content. If you wish to know more or see what I kind of have in mind, please drop me a PM and we can go from there. This is also an open invitation to any of the members that have already volunteered to contribute, and at some point I believe the writers/contributors should be compensated for their efforts.

Nice to see you around, Brick Top.

I am not Brick Top. Thanks for the info though about the messaging. I can see how you would relate how I am writing, just now, to his writing style though.
