Getting Serious About Growing

So,

I've helped set up a few grows elsewhere, I'm good at design, shopping, and set-up on a small scale. I have been growing some clones in a closit since I moved to Co. Its my first grow and it's going fucking awesome, most recent pics here: https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/762058-6-7-weeks-flower-how.html

I really enjoy growing, I am good at it, and want to get more into it. I do after all come from like 6 generations of farmers plus I'm a certified genius, so its in my blood and I learn very fast, hehe.

In the next few years I'll have my own place with some land with a room or two for indoor and a garden outside in the summer. Right now I'm renting and trying to keep things low key and do minimal damage to the house, lol. Plus I work a lot but work from home and can make time when needed, etc.

ANYWAY... I have a very steady income, which I tend to spend a fuckton of at dispensaries, lol. And am currently spending some on expanding my home setup(moving to the basement for slightly more room). And I REALLY want to get more into and learn about things like outdoors, hydro, larger scale growing, small scale propagation for selection of mothers or breeding pairs, cloning and breeding seeds, etc.

SO... I am looking to find some cool peeps that have experience and space to perhaps get to know better, collaborate on some growing, and learn from. I have money and somewhat limited time to invest, and I love to help set shit up and care for plants. I live near Brighton btw, and you should be somewhat close, 30min or so at the most.

Does this sound like a terrible idea? Anyone interested? Thanks!

So, basically, you're advertising on the internet for partners in a marijuana growing enterprise....?
I cannot imagine how this could result in anything other than unrestrained success and happiness for all involved.

You guys are so quick witted. I'll have you know my IQ is 147. I am a professional game developer with a college degree in game programming.

I'm posting in the Colorado medicinal patients thread looking for peeps interested in LEGAL medical growing. And I'm not so stupid as to not get to know a person before getting into any sort of NOT FOR PROFIT growing with them.

Had you been paying attention instead of looking to troll you would have realized how stupid your statements are.

Do a Few Grows & LOT of reading/researching..and chatting to Peeps in Forums...But I wouldn't go Advertising or making Statements quite to that effect without(if ever) worrying about who is gonna Reply and What if you do meet up with someone from near your area...you don't know em from Jack! Just my Thoughts

Peace

I guess the UK breeds scared lil twats. I'm not afraid to meet people in real life and get to know them and make actual friends. Not just skinny, pale, shut-ins from the internet.

I fear not for my personal safety as I know how to defend myself and my home. Forgetting for a second about the security system, the 65 lb dog, and all the firearms in my possession... I'm 6'7" 210lbs, go ahead, try to fuck with me, lol.

Yea, including lots of trash info from forum goers. I prefer to read books written by actual professionals. Also there is no better way to learn than thru experience and working with someone that has more than you do.

IQ scores are bullshit. and you mean your a professional game programmer not developer and its a bullshit career with bullshit hours and bullshit pay. I know how to code C++ and i would rather eat shoes for a living than that. I have a friend who's 6'5 and about 200, a strong gust of wind can blow him over. Don't expect people to like your arrogance

Lol... You seem a bit jealous to be frank. Ain't no gust of wind blowing me over sir. I know how to handle myself, thanks.

And yes, IQ scores and high paying relevant jobs in expanding industries are such bullshit. Said no one ever.

And NO, I mean I am a professional game DEVELOPER. I handle virtually every aspect from concept, to design, managing art/tech team leads, programming, etc. Its one of the amazing benefits of working for an indie company that gets cool contracts to work on projects anywhere from Disney theme park attractions in Japan and Orlando, to R&D for commercial computer vision applications, to indie mobile games.

Also if you want to get down to it. My degree is a Bachelors of Science in Game DEVELOPMENT. I said game programming cuz it was pretty much 3 straight years of C++ with some C, assembly, and nearly every scripting language mixed in. And the coding was applied directly to concepts related to video games. Everything from the low levels of the language and advanced data structures, memory management, optimization, etc... all the way thru physics, rendering, AI and much more.

I'm glad you can "code" but I am a software architect, engineer, and game developer. You are some pathetic wannabe script kitty trolling on the forum post of some noob pot grower nerd wanting to find like minded people in his area.

@ AlGore, Don't think your Meds are working!! Try higher doses...

Its my first grow (do you mean It's?)
I do after all come from like 6 generations of farmers (breeding geniuses!? Farmers not generally known for their high intelligence levels)
I'm a certified genius (certified, I'm sure you are! genius, I doubt it!)
And I REALLY want to get more into and learn about things like outdoors, hydro, larger scale growing, small scale propagation for selection of mothers or breeding pairs, cloning and breeding seeds, etc.
I am looking to find some cool peeps that have experience
I have money and somewhat limited time to invest (get a hooker)
I live near Brighton btw, and you should be somewhat close, 30min or so at the most. (using the word "somewhat" does not make you sound intelligent)

Does this sound like a terrible idea? (Yes!) Anyone interested? (Probably NOT!) Thanks! (No, thank you... for the laugh!)

You guys are so quick witted. I'll have you know my IQ is 147. (Quick-witted is hyphenated, Mr. College Degree)

Not just skinny, pale, shut-ins from the internet. (Nice way to try to make friends)

Yea, including lots of trash info from forum goers (Fuck off to the library then). I prefer to read books written by actual professionals. Also there is no better way to learn than thru (Don't know anyone with a genius-level IQ who spells through THRU) experience and working with someone that has more than you do.
Lol... You seem a bit jealous to be frank. Ain't no gust of wind blowing me over sir. I know how to handle myself, thanks. (anyone can say they're ripped on-line, you're probably a fat-ass, pale, shut-in from the internet)
And NO, I mean I am a professional game DEVELOPER. I handle virtually every aspect from concept, to design, managing art/tech team leads, programming, etc. Its (apostrophe!) one of the amazing benefits of working for an indie company that gets cool contracts to work on projects anywhere from Disney theme park attractions in Japan and Orlando, to R&D for commercial computer vision applications, to indie mobile games. (any spotty teenager with a mobile phone can call themselves a game developer, have you seen some of the shit out there?)

(Urban Dictionary:"Trolling is trying to get a rise out of someone. Forcing them to respond to you, either through wise-crackery, posting incorrect information, asking blatantly stupid questions, or other foolishness." - I think that makes you the troll)

Wow, for someone so smart why are you developing games? You couldn't have applied yourself a little more in life, maybe? I have a friend who is a project manager for NASA, and he's pretty smart, but doesn't go around trying to prove it to others. I'm sure his IQ isn't 147, but the number is socially variable at best, and not a test of true knowledge. Definitely not a test of wisdom or interpersonal intelligence. It some contexts it's basically meaningless.

Plus, why are you using your superior intellect to try to grow weed, in Colorado? I mean, really, Colorado of all places?? It's about to be legal here, surely you understand market forces and could easily deduce what that means for trying to start a profitable grow. Especially with zero experience and no head start compared to the dispensaries already in operation.

Finally, if you were in fact a software architect you would know that the first rule is NOT to reinvent the wheel. Meaning, you know how to research properly so you don't waste your time and/or money on basic problems. You should have already realized you would save your time, and the time of any mentor you seek, by doing some basic research into growing weed yourself first.

To sum up, you're full of shit. To the brim.

Addendum: Did you really say script kitty? Want to try that again? You sure it isn't script kiddy? You know some C++ and scripting languages, huh? Wow. With that you could be an unpaid intern at most software companies, maybe some day you'll advance, who knows. Good luck with all that.

Y'all don't be hatin now :fire:

@op. Dude, I figure you're pretty young.... here's my advice, though you likely won't like it. If you want to grow as a hobby or to offset your consumption tab, so be it, but know that your costs will be easily double that of an efficient commercial operation.

Your plants look great, better than mine for sure. Maybe I could learn something from you, but your post make you sound like a supercilious (I can use big words too) prick. Just sayin.

that don't meant you ain't welcome though, just tone it down some ok?

Yawn, when you have to start picking apart someone's grammar, or calling them a lair, or pointing out they used the wrong internet term on a forum post it's obvious you have nothing intelligent to add. I'm posting on a forum, not writing an essay. I actually never did very with that sort of stuff in school but did very well with math and science, etc. Prob why I became a successful game developer.

And AGAIN. The initial post was not clear but I did reiterate that I am not interested in setting up some large scale for-profit operation. I was just posting, nicely btw, seeing if perhaps there are other medical patients in my area on the froum that might be interested in making friends, setting up some grows, leaning new shit, etc.

It wasn't till you fucks, that have no business even posting in this sub forum, started flaming/trolling whateverthefuck you losers do to make yourselves feel like anyone gives a shit about what you have to say. Then you go off and like each-others posts and pile on like a giant circle jerk. Good for you guys, lol.

Everything I've said about my self, my carrier, and my situation is all true. I'd gladly prove it to you in-person, sadly your all scared lil internet wannabes, I have no need to make friends with the likes of you, or any further need to prove myself.

IF there happens to be anyone that is actually from this area that happens to ever read this thread, feel free to PM me.
