Disregarding Quality

Say I just wanted to grow and harvest a lot, and quality takes a backseat. What would your suggestions be for something that grows quickly and produces alot, and preferably is a little forgiving. Again doesn't have to be a top quality strain, it's irrelevant. Just speed, speed, speed!

Yaa... I get the feeling that this get's asked alot and that's why I'm not getting an answer. Would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

While quantity is important, most of us I bet are growing for quality first. You are just going to get the standard big bud, critical + and what not.

Most, but not all lol. Basically, I have 3 months give or take from planting to harvest. I guess speed is more important.

This thread reminds me of the tuner world where you either want to go fast or go cheap. But, you aint getting both, no way no how. I'd suggest an auto flower that has a good yield. You need to understand that the quicker a plant is forced to mature time wise the less likely it is to have the root structure to support large yields. Anything can happen but you're setting yourself up for failure.

Something has to go. So I would rather it be quality. Lol they call it weed but it sure ain't as hardy as your garden variety stuff. I use root boosting ormone on my plants btw. I can attest to it's effectiveness aswell. So ya, QUALITY is what I'm willing to sacrifice, also my budget is 100 cdn to give an idea of what I'm working with.

Quality is an issue of genetics. What your asking about is fast growth and high yield, again to attributes that are effected by genes. That is why you should look at autos. Genetically tweaked for quicker growing plants start to finish. You will find some starins of autos have good yield but to be honest a newbie isn't gonna see the better end on any spectrum until we get experience under our belts.

just go with the classic no fuss low odor classic northern lights #5. there's a reason it's in a shitload of crosses too.

me? i'd go with TGA subcool's fast finishing third dimension to get quick yield and quality too. i can't wait to try it as i love it's sibling jack's cleaner 2 which shares it's 50% JTR genetics crossed with a faster finishing apollo 13

I think your going in the wrong direction bro! Quality should be first, weak no potency weed doesnt sell good at all, thats what it sounds like you want though. Yield is based on Veg time and Pot size and Lights and Nutrients and Enviroment and experience!!! Sure genetics have a hand in yield but if you dont know what your doing then genetics dont matter much. Most plants that finish fast need a longer Veg time or you get a low yield. So for example Bogs strains mostly finish in 55days but need 2-3 extra weeks to get big enough to put into flower compared to say SSSDH that needs less veg time (about 2-3 weeks less then Bog strains) but needs 77days to finish. So in reality the SSSDH and Bog strain finish at same time from seed and more then likely the SSSDH will yield more in the end anyway. Id personally avoid all Auto's to. Good luck though on what ever you choose to run!

uh, because unlike you, i do a lot of reading before i open my pie hole. i'd never get NL#5 because i don't do indicas, but if someone else wants to EVERYONE knows it's THE best starter strain
potent
high yielding
low odor
noob friendly
it's done very well in cannabis cups (dubious honor though, but that's another topic) in '89, '98 & '09 according to wikipedia without RE-LEARNING what i've already forgotten and don't have that much interest in really

so, why don't you go and create a PUBLIC thread talking trash about NL#5 and see what happens TROLL?! if you spent half as much time trying to learn facts as you do discrediting them, you might not look like a total fidiot

oh yeah. NL#5 is in something like 70% or more modern strains according to either high times or canabible... where i SEEK knowledge and don't try to discedit it.

Crazy hazy, most strains are pretty easy to grow once once one knows how to read a plant. That comes from education of basic botany and experience. You seem to have neither, as demonstrated by your party cup grow.

It sounds like all you are trying to do is barely improve on your local brick-schwag.

Probably a market for that.

It is a ridiculous question really.
A 3 month turn around and enough yield to go get rich quick basically?

Yeah ok....

Grow one batch of bud, after you will be coming back here trying to delete this thread because of how embarrassed you are for ever making it.

Yeah...I wanna get laid, but I don't give a cr#p about quality...any open receptacle will do.
