  • Hi Dan, I have a 5x5 tent and would like to put a Cypress 8 in there, I see on your site that the 8 is recommended for a 4x4. What other Timber light could I add to the Cypress 8 in my 5x5 to give me the coverage that I would need?
Hi Dan, I have the 3vl and I just switched to flower yesterday, right now the lights sits 24” above canopy and is roughly 50% power. How do I go about getting the proper height and power setting? I have the 3500k , does the dimmer control the color wavelength ,like is it necessary to turn it up to 100% to be used for flowering. ?

Hello - happy to help. The 3VL will cover a 2'x4' area @ 18" for flowering. A conservative approach is recommended - slowly increasing power up to 100% and lowering the light to roughly 18" for flowering. The dimmer will not cause a chromatic shift as it can with HID style lights.

Hello - thanks for the opportunity. Right now with our current lead time, it is about 3 weeks until we could get those to you.
    Hello and good day Sir.
My name is Fred and I am a lurking member mainly, lol, from Canada.
I am making the jump over from 2x 600 cool hoods due to heat issues in the summer, and my ridiculous power bills.
I am very interested in your 3vl model x2? I would need to know lead time, and total cost with shipping to Nova Scotia.
Any, if possible, can we chat just a little?

    Hello @NJDGow

Thanks for the message. I'd recommend the 4VS which is designed for a 3x3 area. It will deliver high PPFD over a 9 sq ft area, as well as very even light spread @ 18" above canopy.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to message me here or you can also email me direct at dan@timbergrowlights.com.

    Have a good day.

    Regards,
    Dan

Hey Dan. I can only use 4500 watts of electricity total and I need to absolutely maximize my yield. I am going to do a veg room and a flower room. I was thinking doing a fattyVS and a redwoodVs in veg at 4k and doing 5 of your redwood VS 1750k to maximize your yield per sq ft and or per watt would you recommend 3k or the 1750k Also will I lose essential oils and terps if I go with the 1750k thanks.

Thanks for the message. For the veg room, 4000K makes sense, with 1500 watts covering roughly 80 sq ft with PPFD in the 400-500 µmol/m²s range. You could cover up to 80 sq ft for flowering with (5) of the Redwood VS. I woud run each Redwood in a 4:2 ratio of 3000K to 1750K. @PSUAGRO. has extensive use with 1750K and is now using a combo 3000K and 1750K. He can give you good feedback from a growers perspective.

    Hi @Glrrr

Free shipping still applies to all of our kits within the US. Framework has shipping costs associated with it due to the size of the product.

Let me know if you need anything else.
