The skinners said 41, I had simply told the PH I wanted an old bull. Definitely a great hunt. We were in the Rungwa reserve, truly a magical place!

This is the biggest game I’ve ever taken, Tanzania in 2018. This guy was so old he had barely any hair, his teeth were worn down to the gum line and if you look closely you’ll see he has a chunk bitten out of his butt. The meat that we didn’t eat in camp went to feed the local tribes.

Being retired military made the difference for me, I started collecting after my second retirement at 64. Not having any debt and not having to pay for insurance made it a pretty easy decision for me.
