    Normal for Finishing?

Thanks guys! Appreciate all the advice. I guess the first grow is always interesting because you’re watching it happen in real time. All the YouTube videos really help but when it’s right in front of you, not so much. I bet a lot of people pull these down early. I get it. I’m taking your advice...

    Normal for Finishing?

Well, she is still kicking. It was week 8 yesterday and she just keeps getting bigger. Don’t be fooled by it looking so fluffy. When you squeeze those buds, they are thick and chunky. Pistils are changing now so getting close? Another week?

    Normal for Finishing?

That’s a good question. I’ve been using the photon app(with their diffuser) When this started happening I was about at 800 or 900 in the center and 700+ in the corners and I’m running a 200 W Photontek Pro light led it was about 14 inches above the canopy. Part of the problem is this is all in a...

    Normal for Finishing?

Thanks for the recommendation! I actually was gonna order some of that for inoculating roots on my next grow. This morning, I did water in some recharge though so that should help. Things are looking decent. Buds are fattening up and she’ll finish. I’ll put in some pics from yesterday.

    Normal for Finishing?

Hey there! Yep, she was mad but is feeling better after I raised the light and put on some bloom and cal-mag. Temps before I turned down the lamp were anywhere from 78-83 and now temps average around 80 with a leaf temp of 78 or so. I think it can take any of those temps but I underestimated...

    Normal for Finishing?

Thanks so much for the help everyone. I couldn’t help but give it a little love with quarter dose of pure blend pro bloom and some cal-mag plus. She liked it and it’s just fattening up. Those buds are getting tight and big. Crazy how long this can go. I still think I have a couple weeks so my...

    Normal for Finishing?

Thanks! I’m not worried about that..I’m gonna finish her out, stick her in the Cannatrol, and get ready for the next run. (Pink Certz)

    Normal for Finishing?

Cool. I think I’ve determined it’s a potassium deficiency. I think it probably only has a couple more weeks so I’m just gonna hit it with some recharge and let it ride. As far as the buds go, I don’t really mind the Foxtail’s since it’s my personal stash and my first grow. I think part of the...

    Normal for Finishing?

Got it. The build a bloom is a 2-10-5 so I figured it had enough juice to carry me through. I will try some synganics to the rescue tomorrow. Any suggestions for a flower based synthetic? I’ve heard of lots of people using them when they need a quick response, but I don’t know any brands that...

    Normal for Finishing?

Thanks! I guess there’s some FoxTails. I don’t really notice them like I’ve seen in other pictures, but Hella jelly is supposedly a sativa that grows like an Indica. As far as time goes, I’m just repeating what’s on the back of the pack which says 45 days flower but I know it can go longer. I...

    Normal for Finishing?

Hey guys, six weeks into flower on Hella jelly which is a “45 day” flowering strain according to Humboldt. I don’t think she’s ready yet, but just wanted to see if the yellowing and leaves changing are normal. Basically water only into living soil right now. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    VPD Laser Reading?

Thanks that makes a lot of sense! That will help correct the numbers. My leaf temps are about 2 degrees cooler than ambient. Now that I’ve entered the offset in the controller it shows that I’m running at 1.24 VPD(at the leaf) so all good.

    VPD Laser Reading?

Perfect. I think I got it. I think you’re supposed to use the laser to determine the offset. You then put that information into the controller and it will aim to control leaf VPD instead of the general ambient VPD. Sometimes it helps to just have other people comment so it makes sense. Thanks a lot.

    VPD Laser Reading?

Thanks! I guess it’s just giving me a separate reading at the leaf. The chart that I use has three different curves. One for seedlings, veg, and flower. I guess the point of the meter is so you can get the leaf VPD into the correct range and not the ambient VPD. Correct? Is that what the VPD...
