For Coco with Gaia Green I keep the PH at 6.3 during Veg and 6.5 half way through Flower. I also bought a Bluelab soil ph tester and check the coco once a week. If I notice the coco ph is out of wack I adjust my water ph until coco is in the right range. Expensive ph meter but well worth the...
No I shouldn't have flushed it made things worse. I waited until the medium dried out before watering again and continued to monitor the soils PH. I was able to power through the rest of the grow and get a half desent harvest to make some medicine for my mom.
I have done 2 more runs since...
Its amazing how fast things can go down hill. Went through veg no problems. Environment was dialed in. And 4 weeks left of flower and it all falls apart. Lol
I just flushed with RO water. starting ppms around 10 the run off ppms read over 1600 what does that mean? And how do I fix it? I've never had problems with this before I've always followed the dry fertilizer mixing instructions to a T. Do I just keep flushing until the ppms come down? This is...
That's the thing about slow release organic dry Amendments, there are no salt build ups, that's why you dont water with run off. The nutrients feed the microbial life in the coco. That's why I'm so baffled because there are no extra nutrients in the coco that should he burning the plants.
Great. They're in in 5 gallon fabric. Should help. I might try RO water too with some cal mag mixed in. My well water is already pretty high in ppm to start. I've never had issues with it before but I need to try something different before I lose this whole grow room.
I'll flush again this evening and check the ph and ppm of the run off. It's just so different because with slow release fert you are feeding the microbial life in the coco which breaks down the nutrients for the plant to consume when it needs it. Instead of bottled nutes where to feed the plant...
I've used slow Gaia green with coco for my last 2 runs and never had any issues. It's super simple to use, mix it into the coco at transplant time and for autos top dress at week 5. The plants should be hungry right now not showing nute burn signs that's why it doesnt make sense to me. I realize...
I never checked the ph of the run off. I dont water to run off because I'm using slow release fert. I probably should have. I've been checking my mediums ph daily with a blue lab soil ph probe. Should I flush again and test the run off?
