I was watching the news last night when a story came on about bust of an indoor marijuana farm with 500+ plants from seedlings to flowering 5ft plants. A neighbor is suspected of tipping the police off. At first I didn't think much of it until they said where it was...only a few miles from my...
I'm really using a hodgepodge of different kinds of lights. I have a 6 foot light with sunstick bulbs in it, I'm using two Ott-Lites, the lights from an aero garden, and a big lamp with a sunlight bulb in it. All together it's about 300 watts of light.
About 5 weeks into flowering now, and they are starting to look nice! I have no idea what kind of strain this is, but it looks like some nice mid.

HELP! My plants are nicely flowering right now....and I am forced to go back to college in about two weeks. I have my plants hidden in my closet right now, but taking them to school is not an option. I've asked a few friends if they could watch them for the final weeks they need, but no luck...
i just ordered some fertilizer from foxfarm and hopefully it'll be here soon. i also just changed my light bulbs from regular cool light fluerecent to full spectrum bulbs. you can see a big difference.
i have a female plant that recently started flowering. she's going to have some nice buds but what is the best kind of fert to use? the soil i have has fertilizer already in it but i doubt its making a difference.
what's the best way to circulate the air in a closet grow? i've got a pretty nice fan in there right now, and its pointed away from the plants. there doesn't really seem to be any problem with the air, i'm just making sure there isn't a better way to get the air to circulate.
my plants are now about 2 1/2 months old. i started flowering them about two weeks ago, but the signs are minimal at best. some of the plants have little yellow dots near the stems, which i take are male flowers? i'm not sure. i haven't seen a single clear pistil grow yet which is bad news...
my plants are currently in my closet, and sometimes i go into my closet and turn on my light to get something out. does that disruption in the darkness hurt the plants? it's usually no more than 15 seconds the light is on.
On Saturday night, I switched my light cycle to 12/12 after gradually taking an hour off the light schedule until it was 12/12. But there is still no sign of flowering. I look very close on the stems and there is still no sign that the plant is a male or a female. There looks like there could...
So my plants are about 2 months old and I just pruned all of them and they are doing well sprouting new stems. I'm pressed to force them to flower because I will be moving at the end of the summer, so I've been gradually cutting back the light until I get to 12. Right now, it's at 15/9. But...
